Players find the game genuinely fun and engaging, with several calling it one of the best games they've played. The main complaint is technical stability issues, particularly crashes on death that require Windows 7 compatibility mode to resolve on some systems.
Great game, my only complaint is that there no built in autosave.

[h1] Spore [/h1] [b] Please optimize the game [/b] I adore this game and have enjoyed playing it my entire life. The game is unique, creative, intuitive in gameplay, and massively replayable. My biggest gripe comes from the incredibly poor optimization of this game. While I am aware the game is VERY old and no longer receives updates and has not been optimized, the popularity and playercount this game boasts really deserves a reinvestment of attentiveness from Maxis. I think this game could be huge again if they gave it attention. If it wasn't for the poor optimization and outrageous $20 DLC prices for a 20+ year old game, I would give Spore a 9/10, but due to those issues, I gotta give it a 6/10.
