The spreadsheet puzzles are disappointing: too easy in general, but also inconsistent in their difficulty. The game attempts to tie the puzzles to the loose story through your boss's dialogue, but since the numbers and formulae are random and the rows and columns are unlabeled, it doesn't actually feel like you're doing what you're told you're doing. It's a short game, but if you want to see both endings, you will have to replay all of the same puzzles from the beginning. The two harder difficulties offer no story at all, and the randomized puzzles are no more difficult than usual. For those who care about achievements, note that the game requires you to solve a daily challenge puzzle for 365 days. These puzzles are also no more difficult than usual, and certainly aren't satisfying enough to justify logging in every day to complete them. The events and dialogue aren't noteworthy, but they're narratively sufficient. Without good puzzles, though, they aren't nearly enough to earn the game a recommendation.

It's alright, a bit pricy for the ~1.5h of content for main campaign. The aesthestics is beautiful, writing is alright, puzzles start to get boring by the. Seems like there could be an actual puzzle game made out of excel sheet mechanics. There is a daily puzzle mode afterwards but I don't find it interesting. There are achievements where you need to do the daily puzzles in a row for a year, which is a bit stupid.

This is more of a vibe than a game, and also a rather lazy port of a mobile game that lacks proper screen sizing. The gameplay is just basic math puzzles, of which there are many free alternatives. But for those nostalgic for 90s Windows, this would be a fun game to check out when it goes on sale.
