Spunk and Moxie

A perfect example of a game that though quite competent and suited for the mobile environment fails to offer any compelling gameplay experiences when ported to the PC with its 100+ keys and other assortment of input devices.

Random crashes, there's no way to fix it. Do not buy.

Remember it being fun when i played it. Pretty solid for a 1 button game.

Pros: + The game is full of puzzling stages that will keep you invested. + Simple controls. + Plenty for the completionist with medals and unlockable characters. Cons: – Unable to connect to the Global Leaderboards, removing Ghosts of other players. – Sometimes jumping and power ups don’t mix well. “Spunk And Moxie” is a game to challenge yourself with timing and accuracy but there isn’t much in replayability. Sure there are plenty of medals, achievements, and characters to unlock but when the one method to go against another player’s ghost can’t connect to a server you can’t really go for the gold. Nonetheless, it is a game to test your skills and fill the weekend with. Good 1-button platformer. Sadly, locked to 30fps, which makes the vertical movement sections (which is a big part of this game after all) look and feel pretty bad.
