About Spy Tactics

Spy Tactics is a mix of puzzle and turn-based strategy about fascinating adventures of a spy.

Welcome to Secret Service

You are going to try yourself as a special agent and carry out secret missions in different places of the world – elimination of the corrupted officials and criminal bosses, search of the missing works of art, destruction of the hidden computer servers and chemical laboratories and many other things.
You’ve been assigned a serious mission. It won’t be easy to complete this task. Forget about pity, keep your cool, calculate each step, and the victory will surely be yours.

Develop the Plan of Combat Operation

The game has unique panoramic locations. This gives you the ability to evaluate the map of the level from a point that’s convenient for you. You will be able to calculate the action plan accurately and plan combat operation perfectly.
Observe, calculate, control. You are a secret agent, and you can’t afford to make a mistake.

Use Spy Skills

Solve puzzles – use lock picks, pick different locks, turn off surveillance cameras, crack computer terminals.
The enemy doesn’t sleep! Don’t get caught – use tactics to keep yourself hidden, and when there is no choice left – take a shot and don’t miss!
The variability of moves is the unique characteristic for games of such genre. What will you choose – hidden tactics of the professional spy or a power method of the real fighter?

How hard could it be to clone a good game like Hitman Go? Apparently too hard for some. The UI is a disaster: - The screen can't be scrolled. - The camera can't be centered on the protagonist. - Gamepad doesn't work on menus because there is no feedback - Input is buffered instead of synchronised to your turn. This is very awkward and renders the gamepad unfit in game. - For a modicum of comfort, I must use the mouse on the menus, a remapped keyboard to move the protagonist, and the gamepad to rotate the camera. - Keyboard mapping isn't saved between sessions. - Camera angle and zoom must be reset at each level restart - Character font in settings is large enough, but inexplicably blurred, therefore unreadable all the same. - And so on. Shame on the maker. The rest is on par. - Poor level design, with most moves meant for stalling. And of course, no Undo button. - The music is fine at first, but so repetitive that it must soon be muted for sanity. - Sound effects are non-existent. I wouldn't recommend if it was free.
Nice art, nice puzzles.
It's a lovely game that follows the steps of Hitman GO and the User Interface of Hitman. The music is ok, though I would ask for more of it. I would say that it lacks a bit on authenticity. One thing that can really make the game shine and set it apart from the original; would be to add a Fast-Forward option in the game. With Unity it's quite easy:
Time.timescale = 2f;
That way it won't end up being boring. Because a dragging Gameplay can discourage the player from keep playing. I felt that after the first Level! In conclusion, nice work guys!

the game is not bad at all but sometime you don't feel the spy side of the game animations are not good you don't feel you killed someone if you scroll out so much you can see the all map and all enemy that you killed overall not bad for indie developer

Make it faster, much faster. After mapping my gamepad in settings, I noticed there is no ENTER key on my gamepad, ESC wouldn´t hurt either. Also a button for centered birdview. First level seemed harder than final mission in GO , thats good.

Solid go/tactic game with pro and cons in one: +/-Slow zoom/spin (but with the ambient music and the art of tabletop feels well designed ?!) +/-Limited scrolling (that circumstance set the focus on the basic gameplay mechanics ?!) +/-Solid/simple mechanic (but optional goals are a bug or a feature (steps without cases) ?!) The game need a polish but the basics works fine. In my opinion a unique little well designed gem with a solid gameplay.
