Squid Commando is an arcade shoot-'em-up game in which you have to fight alone or in pairs in co-op mode, against the whole army of General Darken. You can choose from three characters with different weapons as you shoot down swarms of enemies through five different levels.

It is bright, colorful and blowing stuff up feels good. Unfortunately, the game controls feel terrible. The game is also priced a little high for what is on offer. I think there is probably a good game in here but I can't really get past the bad mouse and keyboard controls. If you are keen to play an arcade shooter and don't mind slightly wonky tank controls, then this will probably be good for you. Squid Commando is an engaging twin-stick shooter that pays homage to classic arcade shooters. The difficulty progressively ramps up from level to level, delivering a consistently challenging gaming experience. The graphics are well-crafted, and the sound design adds a nostalgic charm that I find particularly appealing. I'm eagerly anticipating the release of the second installment.1 found this helpful
As a fan of M.E.R.C.S., Commando, Ikari Warriors, Rambo (master system), Shock Troopers, etc. I can say, this game scratch the inch, because they don't make games like this anymore. I will recommend it, but I agree that price is too high, 9.99 would be more reasonable.
