About Squidly's Revenge
Squidly wasn’t a hero. He was just a squishy little reef-dweller with more heart than muscle. But when Lord Azure and his Abyssal Cult started dragging folks into the deep and wrecking his home, even a squid has his limits. Then Poseidon — ancient sea god, part-time drama queen — blessed him with divine power and one mission: get revenge. Now, in this fast-paced underwater roguelike, Squidly fights back using whatever weapons his enemies drop — from mantis shrimp knuckle dusters to barnacle blasters. Every run is randomized, chaotic, and packed with cartoon mayhem.Survive waves of enemies, steal their gear, and take on the ocean's deadliest bosses. He’s underqualified. He’s overpowered. He’s out for revenge.Welcome to Squidly’s Revenge — a deep-sea brawl for the ages.

Squidly's Revenge is a fun bullet-hell roguelike like Vampire Survivors. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/etUqKsYCB4w The pixel art-style is great. The gameplay is simple, engaging, and relaxing, with plenty of fun enemies and bosses. The goal is to survive 80 waves in one sitting without dying. A random boss appears every tenth wave. Defeating the boss will allow you to pick up their super weapons. You move our character around while it auto-attacks any enemies that get within range. You pick one of three random abilities every time we level up. In-between runs, you upgrade your weapons and stats to grow stronger. You can also enable various mods to change the difficulty and gameplay.2 found this helpful
Squidly's Revenge
play this if you don't mind a headache My name is G0disPink and I have a YouTube channel where I play and upload my first experience with a game unedited. Most of my videos are 20 to 30 minutes in length and this is my critique from my short time with the game. Similarities From

Bullet Hell games with RNG card leveling systems
2D Megabonk with less features
The Good

Various weapons and enemies
Love the colors of the projectiles, levels and sprites
The Bad

Sound effects can be ear piercing a bit
Some enemies are hard to see
Not every animation makes sense
Final Opinion For $5, the game is great. A lot of the negatives can be overlooked thanks to the low price tag. The game will keep you entertained for a while if you enjoy this genre of game. Squidly’s Revenge is an action-focused roguelike developed and published by Howling Wolf Games that combines fast combat, randomized progression, permanent upgrades, and a playful underwater setting into an experience designed around replayability and chaotic fun. Rather than building itself around realism or deep storytelling, the game embraces colorful arcade energy and throws players into an underwater conflict where survival depends on adaptability, quick thinking, and learning how to turn increasingly unpredictable situations into opportunities. The story centers around Squidly, an ordinary squid living a quiet life beneath the ocean until disaster strikes. A dangerous force known as the Abyssal Cult begins bringing destruction across marine environments, spreading chaos and threatening underwater life. Squidly is not introduced as a legendary warrior or chosen hero. Instead, circumstances push him toward a role he never expected to take. After receiving divine assistance from Poseidon himself, Squidly begins a mission fueled by revenge, determination, and a growing desire to stop the forces destroying his home. The narrative remains intentionally lighthearted and never take…
