A great easy to pick up and play roguelite. Feels satisfying, familiar and with some depth I think. Playing on my steam deck it works great.

On principle, I will not recommend a game that was made with generative AI. In a recent post for enabling mod support, it is revealed on the GitHub page that Claude is listed as a contributor. It's unknown to what extent Claude or any other LLM tools were used, and the only evidence thereof is a contribution to a README file, but leaving AI use undisclosed is a violation of Steam's Terms of Service. It's a shame that it was also featured in a Godot blog post, which is why I checked out the game. Too late to refund now, though.

It's fun but whenever I get a high enough score my PC slow down so much i have to completely reset the PC, not even closing the game fixes it the whole PC is just useless

Been playing Tetris for years and need to make it feel like something completely new? This game does that in a very creative and entertaining way where there is still a trend of rougelikes and lites still being made. I would call this a Balatro-like :P Anywho, the blocks and categories the blocks can fall under are interesting and it makes a level of strategy and game play that really encourages exploration of the mechanics. I am still learning new ways on how I went wrong about a run (i.e. hold feature costs and increases with use)! My biggest gripe are the bosses are both randomized and their difficulties don't exactly scale, per se. It's more like "I got lucky on this run that this boss happened first because if I got it later after getting certain perks THEN it becomes challenging." I get it, RNG, but in comparison to it's inspiration, those bosses were designed in a way that by the time you get to them in any order, you would have had the right tools and it simply becomes a skill issue or mistake. My second biggest gripe is the depth of the game itself. It is very easy to have used all of the different blocks at least once and unlock the other 2 grids. It would be nice in …

I dont know if i just got extremely lucky on a run but it Does feel very short of a game, getting a beaten run by a Mile and getting pretty much every achievement besides "buy every block atleast once" with getting e13 . . . But that being said it is very good and fun regardless . . .

I just want to get this out there since I've seen a few negative reviews trashing this game for its design not rewarding skilled Tetris players. You can be a pro at regular Tetris gameplay and still lose regularly, because the game itself is designed around your builds and not your actual Tetris skills. The blocks you purchase after every round are themed, and each type of block compliments other blocks from its respective theme, and each theme is based around different play styles. Some are based on stacking, some are based on fast placement, and some are based on clearing single rows at a time. Depending on what your approach is depends on which theme you pick, or how you mix it with other themes. You're not going to have a good time if you approach this game as a Tetris game and not as a roguelike deckbuilder. You need to see this as another Balatro or Slay the Spire but with Tetris gameplay. I'm an avid Tetris player and I've been having a blast with this game, because it tries something new with the Tetris formula and requires the player to think outside of the box. I'm sure that the scoring system and a few mechanics need to be tweaked, but that's the norm with games like t…
