About StarCrossed
StarCrossed is an action arcade game with a magical girl aesthetic and a cooperative twist! Join our cast of 5 space-faring heroes as they travel across the stars, working together to strengthen their bond and defeat a looming evil that threatens the Nova galaxy! It’s time to team up, get sparkly, and take out the bad guys!

StarCrossed plays like a classic arcade space shooter except your only weapon is the star bouncing between you and your partner. Timing and teamwork are key! Use your positioning to line up the perfect shot and defeat the waves of enemies!

ARCADE MODE
In Arcade Mode, it's an all-out race for points against increasing waves of enemies. The longer you play, the harder it'll get, so it's up to you and your partner to play your hearts out and reach for the stars! Your scores will be saved for easy viewing, and even be visible on a Global Leaderboard!
STORY MODE
The Nova Galaxy is an empire of unified peoples, physically pulled and held together through time and space with the power of the Harmony Crystal. Though it is constantly protected by the royal family, in past times of crisis the Harmony Crystal has anointed five heroes to defend it from harm and thus keep the galaxy unified. StarCrossed is the story of a new time of crisis and the new heroes chosen to fight.

- Cast of 5 playable characters to choose from, each with their own unique ultimate ability!
- Designed from the ground up for 2 player local co-op! Split controller offers the option for solo play or an even cozier two player experience.
- Supports Xbox and PS4 controllers.
- Get competitive with Arcade Mode, featuring a global high score leaderboard!
- Explore the galaxy in Story Mode, with visual novel style dialogue scenes and an epic quest!
- Original soundtrack of magical and spacey tunes, composed by PearlPixel!

It's boring af :/ I didn't like it. StarCrossed 2/10 Heisen9 found this helpful
only buy this game if your going to play with others 7/10 as a single player game 4/10 single player is on the harder side of things they should really slap in an easy game mode needs healing at respawn checkpoints needs more heals or health when playing single players at least. could slap in an easy mode that gives people 5 or 6 health each so casuals could enjoy the game needs 4 player co-op needs 2 players controlling 2 people each Achievements are insane!!! most are huge grinds and almost nobody has any of them5 found this helpful
I want to recommend this game. I love the style and character design. All the characters are so cute and i want to get to know them by hearing all their dialogue during the levels, but it seems pretty damn impossible to do that due to the poor control scheme. I honestly don't know why the devs thought using the arrow keys for movement and then placing your other keys for dodging ulting and boosting on another section of the board was a good idea. The controls are split between two players and player 1 has the ability to one hand their controls pretty easily, but player 2 is wildly unacceptable if both players are to be given equal treatment. Player 1 uses WASD, Q, E, and Space. Player 2 uses Arrows, <, >, and ?. As player 1 you can hit all your controls while still moving in a very fluid fashion. Since this game is either meant to play with a partner and has a cozy feel, it is great for like a date night or something where you and your SO can chill out 1 hand the game while doing cozy date ♥♥♥♥. Now for player 2's perspective. You have been invited to play a cozy game and while your partner is easily, fluidly, playing their side, you are over here 2 handing your controls trying to …1 found this helpful
i really enjoyed this game! i definitely agree with the other reviews saying that the game is pretty difficult if you play it alone, but it's certainly not impossible, and i found it fun even though i'm not usually good at these types of games. the story's fun and i really liked seeing the different conversations when you picked different combinations of guardians. the outlaw and the weapon were my favorites, but they're all fun! however, if you're a "give me all the trophies" person or someone who gets really frustrated by dying in the same fight, i would recommend not getting this unless you have a friend to play with. i had almost 40 hours on this with no luck for the more difficult trophies until i got a friend to hop on; then it only took a few hours to tackle the rest. still, the art is gorgeous, the story's fun, and it's a good time, so if you're interested, it's more than worth the price!1 found this helpful
Not my cup of tea. It looks beautiful and responsive - but is not something I enjoy playing.
I am really bad at it, but it's a very fun idea and I adore all the art!
