Starforged Legacy

Cool game with everything one could hope for, but the very first run I did... I just sat there and killed everything automatically without any movement. I couldn't even see enemies on the screen anymore. Everything was demolished before it even became a pixel on my screen. Seemed weird to face something like that with no perks on the literally first and only run I have done. I haven't done anything else yet. Bosses weren't really challenging, just took forever to kill at first. Until I killed them in 2 seconds later. I feel like there is a lack of escalating challenge. If I can sit there unchallenged then I think bosses should spawn if you wait. There is no reason to warp.

Review for current state after the 0.3.2 update. I am not sure what else they have planned, but this game (imho) has a long way to go to be "good". Right now it's "alright, I will play a few runs, then never touch it again". The main issue here is that it wants to be a rogue-lite with different routes, but those all feel the same somehow ... and you always just go for the shops anyway, there isn't enough interesting variation here, but also a survivors type game, but the entire "fantasy" of it doesn't work for me. 99% of the enemies are just trying to rush and crash into you. That's not really how SANE pilots behave. Many enemies ALSO shoot at you, mind you, but still. You now have a lot of enemies zeroing in on you, while also having to dodge some kind of bullet hell and "dodge the fire on the ground" MMO type game mechanic. A run takes about 30 to 45 minutes, and each run is basically the same. Unfortunately, it's hard even to see a big difference in the weapons or augments. The only difference that I've really found so far is that the battleship class just seems to be an "I win" button right now? They're slow and ponderous, and you won't really dodge anything with them, but …
