Stay With Me

Not a world shatteringly complicated game, but it's about half an hour of fun for free.

More difficult than I was expecting. 35 minutes well spent!

Stay With Me is a really short horror game, but I think it gets a surprising amount out of such a simple idea. I am driving an ambulance at night when I realise something strange is in the back. It is a weird creature that looks more like a red piece of meat than anything I would normally expect to see in a horror game, and my job is basically to keep it alive while I drive it somewhere safe. The whole thing takes around 15 to 30 minutes, so it is very much a short experience rather than something I am supposed to spend hours with. The resource management is what makes it more interesting than a normal walking horror game. While I am driving, I have to keep an eye on the creature and deal with different little tasks while following the GPS. I also have to deal with road construction and other problems along the journey, so I cannot just sit back and watch the story happen. I like that the game gives me something to concentrate on because it makes the strange passenger feel like something I am actually responsible for rather than just another horror prop. The atmosphere is probably the best part for me. The empty roads, dark night and ambulance interior give the game a really unco…

Lowkey a pretty entertaining game. The last level was a little a difficult but GG nonetheless.

Horror game which monster from back can eat you, if you don' heal him well. For me was interesting only to finish and achieve achievements, because graphics is ok, but mechanic was sloppy.
