About Last mile
Last Mile - is an atmospheric horror game about survival behind the wheel of a car on a night road. You find yourself in a spatial anomaly where every kilometre brings new threats and the road itself turns into a nightmare.
Immersive Experience
The game is played from a first-person perspective in the confined space of a car. An old highway, a gloomy town and a forgotten village, shrouded in darkness and anxiety, await you. Limited resources, rain, fog, squeaky windscreen wipers and frightening shadows outside the window create an atmosphere of helplessness and fear.Gameplay
Last Mile combines car driving and survival elements in the horror genre:- Avoid deadly physical anomalies.
- Drive away from monsters and be prepared for sudden screamers hiding in the darkness.
- Keep an eye on your instruments: GPS and headlights will help you stay on the road until your battery runs out.
- Fight not only terrifying creatures, but also a pursuing car that won't give you a break.
Every decision matters
Should you slow down to examine the shadow ahead, or take a risk and keep going? Should you use your last few percent of battery power or save it for later? Every action can determine whether you survive to the end of the road. Can you make it through the last mile when the road itself is hunting you?

one of the games ever made. very slow going, no suspension, cheap jump scares, bad story, bad gameplay. Good driving though, that felt nice. suspenseful music would really help this game, atmosphere that got progressively spookier would be better instead of those cheap jump scares, and having a quicker and more interactive story would be better than whatever this game was trying to do. Maybe something like this: You drive to check up on the people from the case because they haven't reported to work in a bit. It's early morning before daybreak. You check on one person (actually exit the car and enter their house) but find nothing but blood and a gun. You take the gun (unlocking that ability) and get back to your car to use the police radio in there but all you get is static. You decide to book it to your other co-worker who was also on the case to try and get help since they live nearby. You get there but find their house on fire with gas cans and cigarettes on the ground (again, unlocking those abilities). You get back in your car and find that 3 or so hours have somehow passed and the weirdest thing is that the sun isn't up yet (game in permanent night time). That would be m…8 found this helpful
The car controls are 10/10, and the game's high number of creepy screeches and storyline keep it interesting!3 found this helpful
Pros +Intriguing story +Car handling isn't too bad +Some nice jump scares +Good price +You can save the game at various checkpoints and resume later +Dev is helpful and fixed my mouse issues (amongst other things in recent patch) Cons -Does not reward exploration. You will insta-die, despite how much progress you've made in the level -Game is super dark and I think I was meant to be getting spooked by various things, but simply could not see them. Visibility is perhaps too poor -Windscreen wipers appear to be there for comedy value only -Game file size is bizarrely massive. 11GB and in all honesty looks like it should run on a Pentium -As above, it's not too well optimised. My GPU is cooking, but not really seeing why It's honestly not a bad little game. I'm still early on in the story and am hoping some later stages are at day time so I can actually see something2 found this helpful
