Stellar outpost commander

This game is not ready to be launched in any way menus are a MESS pointless level of upgrades when you research tier 2 tier one does not get replaced and still takes up an upgrade slot the AI movements is mental no mission status inside games most ships just chose to never leave base... its a horrible space imitation of Majesty fantasy kingdom sim which was an amazing game.... needs so much work. hope they do it because it could be fun.

Found a bug in the tutorial, sent a report on discord and the devs started to resolve it for the next day.

Majesty in space. Kinda rough around the edges but fun game overall. It desperately needs more clarity because there is no information about various elements in the game.

I am not very happy about this purchase. It mostly comes down to I don't know how to play it or can't tell buildings apart. Graphics isn't very functional, distinction between different modules is not good enough, so I need to click all of them to see what they do and find the particular one I want to execute some actions on. Missing tooltips. There is a long array of modules and actions, but I don't know what they do until I spent research points to unlock and build the building which is a big investment. Still haven't figured out what I need to do to speed up building of capital ships. Apparently I have to buy parts or get them through trading? Which level do they need to be etc. There is a game breaking bug of losing control when I sometimes get too close to the edge of the map, but this is rare and may be exclusive to Linux which is officialy not supported. Other than that, I like the game, concept certainly has the potential.

To be fair, this may not be the best Majesty-like genre experience. There have been a dozen of entries to this genre in recent years and some of these apparently had more budget and manhour than this one. Still, I chose this and I don't regret because this is one of few entries that tried to do something different. If you have already enjoyed classic Majesty games for many hours and found the recent surge in Majesty-like games less appealing due to the repetition of the 'fantasy kingdom sim' theme and the lack of creativity, I'd say trying this is likely to be more satisfying than trying the others.

Buggy AF and should have been released EA, but I'll give it a thumbs up since its fun.
