Sticky Struggles

This is a 75 lvl, optional limited moves, sticky cube/ cube roller type puzzle game. It is sadly such a rare thing – an actually cheap (99 cents full price) great, well made, minimalistic game with lots of options. The one thing I usually don’t like in puzzle games (but I’m used to it) is the weird isometric angle making you wonder if the left keyboard key moves it left or up. Here what is great, is that you have choices – you can play this top down, or the standard squinty angle isometric view. You can move with WASD/arrow keys or if you click the d-pad icon off, a d-pad shows up in your screen and you can just use your mouse by clicking on these arrows if you prefer. The goal is to get each colored block onto their colored squares by moving your controlling cube. It’s not sokoban, and while it’s not original – there are sticky cube games and cube roller games that are similar; it’s a great example of it. With some good, natural progression of game mechanics. If you don’t want to go for the optional ltd moves then while it’s on the easy side, it’s still worth your time playing it. [b]6/10[/b] Sticky Sokoban. [b]What is it:[/b] A Sokoban variant in which you don't push cubes, you permanently stick to them until they reach a target spot. There are different colors for the cubes, and they must be moved to a target spot of the same color. Other mechanics are laser that will destroy you, but can be blocked with cubes, linked target spots that must be covered all at once to work, barriers that can be removed when the target spot linked to it is used, and blank cubes that must be colored using coloring spots. Each level awards two stars, one for finishing the level, and one for doing that with the optimal solution. Overall, I enjoyed the puzzles, and some of the optimal solutions were a little challenging to find. [b]How hard is it:[/b] Easy to slightly hard if you want to perfect every level. [b]How long is it:[/b] 50+25 levels, for some reason the 51-75 levels are considered a bonus. The majority of them can be finished in a couple of hours, but perfecting every level should take 3-6 hours. Levels are unlocked one by one, no skipping allowed. [b]Level design:[/b] Good. Neat and clean puzzle game. Features great level designs, relaxing music and simple controls. Basically you get what you see from the game trailer, If you enjoy these types of puzzle games, you will not regret your purchase of this game.

Basic sokoban puzzles. Nothing revolutionary here but for a buck or less, there's plenty puzzles to give you your moneysworth.
