I bought this game after seeing it advertised in a mod for a old Tony Hawk game, and after seeing someone on YouTube play through it with the developer on commentary. I've only played through a small chunk of the game in the past year, but what I did play was fun. Sure, the controls are a little weird and take some getting used to, but for me that adds to the charm of it. I quite like the level design, and I LOVED getting gaps for wall tapping and footplanting random things in the levels I played. For a game that says it SUX, I liked it quite a bit. Hoping there might be a sequel one day.1 found this helpful
If you like Tony Hawk, imagine THPS 3 if it was one ONE wheel. The 2 minute timer, the level challenges, the graphics, all of it just screams appreciation of what came before it and building on it. I can't wait to see what's next for this game. Also, I walked into this game thinking I'd hit a 1 mill combo like old times and was immediately humbled, its a great time.1 found this helpful
street uni x is a fantastic re-interpretation of the classic tony hawk formula. it has the goal of really getting you to marinate & deeply engage with its systems, and it succeeds. the game has tons of charm and really feels like it brings this style of game into the current decade. (i had more than 1.3 hours in at the time! steam was offline and didn't track a really long play session)1 found this helpful
