Summer Fling is a romance-focused visual novel developed and published by Dharker Studios. Set during a quiet summer vacation just before the protagonist begins university, the game presents a relaxed story centered on friendship, attraction, and the emotional uncertainty that comes with major life transitions. Rather than delivering an epic narrative or dramatic plot twists, the experience focuses on a small group of characters sharing a brief but meaningful weekend together. Through dialogue choices and character interactions, players guide the protagonist through a short but intimate story where every decision influences how relationships develop. The premise begins with the protagonist finishing high school and preparing for the next stage of life. Before leaving for university, he decides to spend part of his summer break at a family-owned lake house. The peaceful retreat provides the perfect opportunity to relax and reflect on the future. What begins as a solitary getaway soon becomes more eventful when two of his friends arrive to join him. Mediocre gooner VN I got on sale. Anime style art is okay but it's very short, story is meh, not much content and not a very good VN. 4/10
Very little content, and the "path" is ridiculous. When you consider the many remarkable alternatives (or even just basic ones), this is not worth paying for. You want the happy end? Always click the same girl. Misstep, and you get the bad ending out of the blue. Click fast enough and you're done with at least two endings in less than half an hour.
