Built around fast-paced shooting and minimal strategy, it drops you into dusty, enemy-infested roads where survival is more about holding the trigger than tactical choices. The game kicks off with a simple choice: pick one of two available drivers, each with their own uniquely styled vehicle and stats. More drivers can be unlocked later using gears, collectible items you gather during each run. Once you’re in, the action never lets up. You’ll blaze down a linear road littered with hostile vehicles and hazards, all while your weapons fire without worrying about ammo. There’s a minimalistic approach to the controls. You only need to hold to shoot, steer left or right to aim, and occasionally tap turbo for a quick dodge or speed boost. Each driver also has a unique weapon that charges over time via a heat bar. You don’t need to manage ammo or resources (turbo and heat regenerate on their own), which keeps the gameplay fast. Since you have guns on both side of a vehicle, you need to hold down two buttons at all times, which can make it painful after a while. Health management is unintuitive at first. Your health is disguised as a fuel meter, which drops when taking damage but slowly…3 found this helpful
You'll love it as soon as you hear the character selection song; there's so much of everything in this game.I just wish it had achievements.I wish getting into the upgrade truck was easier; I've died so many times trying to get in.1 found this helpful
Super Highway Rampage is a fast-paced vehicular combat roguelite developed and published by Lasso Games. Set in a chaotic wasteland filled with hostile forces, the game combines high-speed driving, twin-stick shooting, and progression-based mechanics into an experience that emphasizes constant action and replayability. Rather than focusing on realistic driving simulation, the game embraces arcade-style destruction, encouraging players to race through dangerous highways while eliminating enemies, collecting upgrades, and surviving increasingly difficult encounters. The core gameplay revolves around selecting a vehicle and battling through waves of opponents across procedurally structured runs. The driving controls are accessible and responsive, allowing players to focus on dodging enemy attacks and positioning themselves for maximum damage. Combat is the main attraction, with vehicles equipped with a variety of weapons that can be upgraded throughout each run. The constant flow of enemies creates an energetic rhythm, keeping players engaged as they weave through projectiles and unleash devastating attacks against hostile forces. One of the game's strongest features is its roguelit…1 found this helpful

Absolute sensory overload in the best possible way. Think Spy Hunter meets roguelite and you're sorta there, but there are SO many combinations to try, cars to unlock, and the g*ddamned MUSIC buy the synthy maestro Bad Guys Get Dead carries you along in a flow state so intense, you'll probably do like I did and refrain from blinking until you've completed a run. On sale it's an absolute STEAL; grab it and have fun!
very charming, cool game. i love the concept of these car action games. however, the game is very chaotic and might not be for everyone. difficult, very fast paced, bullets flying everywhere, which often blend into the background and with other pick-uppable items. i managed to finish the game deathless with the default green fella. i have no idea how you are supposed to beat the game with the other characters: green fella has a special ability that makes him immune to damage. its a very important ability. characters in general lack defensive mechanics. theres a universal turbo mechanic, it wouldve been cool if it gave the player invincibility or something.
