About Super Nate Adventure
Super Nate Adventure is a game about focused, tight platforming through challenging levels. Each new level with a different obstacle than the last, encountering new areas and new enemies to face along the way. The game has 12 levels that span across 3 unique worlds which have different sceneries, music and obstacles. Diamonds are placed throughout the world to guide you through each level, but keys are an extra difficult challenge usually requiring more work to obtain.
Full controller support. Automatically detects connected controllers.
Press to Jump or hold for a High Jump.
Hold to Run, Tap to Pickup. Jump at max speed for a Super High Jump.
Press Start to pause then Select to quickly exit to main menu.
Umbreller is a basic enemy, jump on their head to destroy them.
Cloudum is similar to the Umbreller but can float in the air.
Volcanog shoots drops of lava from its volcano, it's too hot to jump ontop.
Flitz is hot like the Volcanog, it flies in a wave pattern and passes through walls.
Ball can be bounced upon but is too heavy to bounce off you.
Spinner spins two lines of lasers around it's center, but can be stood upon.
Death Block will instantly destroy you if collided directly.
Diamonds and Keys are treated like a score, they must be collected in a single run.
Diamonds and Keys can be collected separately from one another in different runs.

[h1] It takes more than that to make a good Super Mario Bros. alternative. Color palette is interesting. Level design is not half bad here offering some variety in terms of obstacles and foes. Main problem is that it doesn't offer much than beloved SMB. Even so nuances added to the game would make it much more interesting. So far it feels pretty basic so it's your call if you wanna play another Mario clone without spark. [/h1]7 found this helpful

"Super Nate Adventure" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This is a really badly made Super Mario Bros ripoff (I hope Nintendo sues)... a short (12 level) platformer with sloppy controls, lazy pixelcrap "art" and absolutely zero reason for anyone to play it. It was a dismal failure here on Steam Direct. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games …1 found this helpful

Главный герой, Нейт, очень харизматичный и забавный, за него приятно играть. Геймплей одновременно и прост, и увлекателен. Интуитивное управление позволяет быстро освоиться, а сложность уровней постепенно возрастает, заставляя думать и применять различные навыки. Разнообразие врагов и ловушек не дает заскучать, а секреты и коллекционные предметы добавляют игре реиграбельности. Особенно порадовала музыка – динамичная и запоминающаяся, она отлично дополняет атмосферу приключений. Сюжет не блещет оригинальностью, но он вполне приятный и мотивирует двигаться вперед. В целом, 'Super Nate Adventure' – это отличный платформер, который подойдет как для новичков, так и для опытных игроков. Игра дарит положительные эмоции и заставляет улыбаться. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет веселую и увлекательную игру на несколько часов!
Doesn`t save progress. Stay away.
This title is a competent little platformer. It's nothing unlike other 2D platformers you most likely have played before *cough* Mario *cough* (albeit on the more difficult side) but the controls feel good and that's the most important thing with this kind of game. I'd recommend the game to anyone who wants something familiar that doesn't outstay its welcome.
