Nerraia

Lucky me has the dubious honour of writing the first review for Nerraia. Lucky me. Nerraia is a furry themed Brazilian 2D retro pixel platformer/brawler where you control a furry and beat up trees and stuff while traversing badly made platformer levels. There's a storyline delivered in some of the worst Portugese translation I've ever seen... feeding it into Google Translate, translating it into Japanese, Finnish, Indonesian and then into English would result in more comprehensible text than the gibberish writing delivered in this "game". The artwork here is terrible, it's a blend of old retro pixel "art" used as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics, and some of the most amateurish MS-Paint style drawings (I won't deign to call these "illustrations"). It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can do graphics properly, or lack of talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result of these decisions. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings.
