Super Scoundrel Solitaire

the game starts in non-resizable windowed mode and [b]there is only a music on/off toggle, no other settings or customization whatsoever[/b], so up to you to press alt+enter for full screen. this would be enough to exit (there's a button, well done), post the non-recommendation and move on, but might as well waste more time on playing than the clueless developer did throwing it together, based on other people's idea. the tutorial explains things badly. instant and silent text is good, [b]sound effects that can't be turned off[/b] are bad, and it also won't let you go back and forth to make rules sink in more. [b]the tutorial can also break.[/b] the second time (wanted in vain to quickly clarify how weapons work) I ended up being told to click the 5 of hearts but all I had were black cards. [b]classic and endless modes[/b] are available, without a single word of explanation. the former is won if the deck is depleted, endless keeps dealing until you inevitably die. black cards are monsters, hurting you for their value, hearts are health potions. 4 cards are dealt in every room, clear all but one to move on, that is, to deal another 3. a room can be skipped anytime to save health an…

Does what it says on the tin and it's free! Fun game to kill some time and/or having this on a second monitor.

Gentle like, it's just okay. I like the idea, but it's ultra luck-based. Which shouldn't be surprising given it's Solitaire, but just expect to lose most games no matter how far you get or well you plan.

It's Scoundrel alright. And it's free, so there's no reason not to try it if this shows up for you. That said; there's currently no way to choose whether you can fight a monster bare-handed while you have a weapon equipped. That should be fixed.
