It's just like [b]TRON[/b] (the retro videogame), but with power-ups. It's probably more fun if you have friends to play with locally, since it has no online.

Tons of fun to play on the couch with friends!!! It also works perfectly on the Steam Deck without having to mess with proton / anything

Chimeraland is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Tron (Copyright Bally Midway, 1982). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. At this stage no legal action has been taken by Bally Midway against the "developer" here, but it's never off the table, as previous copyright law cases have shown. Putting aside the unethical intellectual bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept for profit, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. Chimeraland is considerably worse than Tron. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics twea…
