What Steam players say

Players appreciate T.A.P.'s core concept of building turrets on a mobile platform to attack enemy bases and manage upgrades, finding the gameplay inventive and fun despite its low-budget presentation. However, most criticize the rough polish, confusing mechanics, limited mission variety that boils down to positioning turrets for firing lines, and lack of substantive content between base assaults, making it an entertaining but flawed indie project best enjoyed on sale rather than at full price.
The customization stuff is neat, albeit not particularly groundbreaking. Being able to fly around an island like this makes me nostalgic for good games where you can fly around islands, but this particular implementation is mostly just about running out of energy and gliding along the ground from base to base, where there's not much to do except try to make sure all your turrets have a firing line on the little square base you're fighting.4 found this helpful
T.A.P. is low budget but the game play is both fun and inventive. Basically you have a mobile platform that you can build turrets on then fly it to the enemy and destroy them. Back at your base you can spend resources earned on new turret factories and upgrades for your next assault. T.A.P. is probably the best game from this developer to date so if you get some spare time you might want to check it out. On a personal not- Everyone at Anti-Ded GameDev, why is there no Australian prices set on your earlier games yet? Take a look at my video to see me complete a few of the missions... https://youtu.be/bFJhP2-hMjc Thanks for watching. Please like comment and subscribe.4 found this helpful
Interesting game. This is very beautiful, especially if you bleed a little, you can make colorful rocket attacks on the bases. There is a random generation of missions that have missions with hunters who have their weapons set at random, sometimes they have to sweat to cover them! But it is even more fun! The game is very interesting!2 found this helpful
NOT A TOWER DEFENSE GAME Okay, got that out of the way. That said, it is a damaged and sub par product that I have found a bit of fun in, despite the quirks and miscues. Basically you travel around a small island in a hover-ship trying to kill the enemy. While there does not seem to be a robust story, or any story for that matter, it does seem toi have a deep upgrade system, and quite a few things I still don't understand. (For example, why can my base defend itself? Why do towers get stronger? All a mystery) The music is nice, though the transitions can be jarring. A lot of this is confusing, but I am having fun exploring what there is. It isn't for everybody, but for those of you with a fondness for misfit toys, it might be worth a peek. ADDENDUM: It only took me twenty one hours of play to defeat the game, and by the end I was so powerful there wasn't zero challenge to the final boss. Still, it was fun...1 found this helpful

Right off the bat there's a lot of polishing left needed so hopefully the developer is still on top of the game with updates Anyone hoping for professional late 90's game studio quality can look elsewhere; this is a one man amateur and it's dreadfully noticeable from the get go. Otherwise it's a very good idea which I haven't seen done prior even though it's a salad of several other titles Attack and take over bases for resoruces Use resources to build ship attachment factories at your main base add those attachments to your ship to take on bigger enemy bases The game is sloppy but it's also entertaining and entertaining is ultimately what counts If purchasing again however it's not a title I would pay more than 6 USD for So I can recommend on sale.
