About Tales of Astel

Immerse yourself in the tale of Astel the goblin, who escaped captivity and now strives to fulfill her dream of becoming a merchant. Yet on her path rises the very design of the universe: a dark and absurd story where irony, lust, and death intertwine in a grand plan. Each chapter of the tale is a new encounter with entities far more powerful than the little goblin herself. You will face the forces of nature and death, time and isolation, the creator, and that which lies beyond all things. Trials, temptations, and a few but meaningful choices will lead you to the finale.Lift the curtain, uncover hidden secrets, step beyond the walls that conceal more than they appear—and beware the tricks of the Gremlins.

Features:

 • A narrative-driven dark fantasy quest with elements of horror and eroticism.
 • Subtle Slavic-inspired setting.
 • An atmosphere of absurdity, irony, and grotesque, infused with mythological motifs.
 • Death is not the end, but an essential part of the story.

 • Fourth-wall-breaking narrative.
 • QTE elements and dice checks.

[後半に日本語レビューあり]
Absurdist Dark Fantasy H-RPG with a Uniquely Styled Goblin Girl
This is a story-led, quest-style adventure game played from the perspective of Astel, a goblin girl who has escaped captivity. She has motives such as the dream of becoming a merchant and pursuing the "truth", but what awaits is a gloomy world where lust, death, and irony intertwine. Depending on your actions, you can hit an instant game over, and you will proceed through its unique art style and worldview. Progression is not limited to simply "reading forward"; at key points in branching routes, checks (dice) and QTE-like events are inserted. Failure and death are not merely "the end" - you gain information, try again, and search for a different path, which becomes the way you move forward. In addition to adult H elements, there is also violence and gore, so you will need some tolerance for "that side" of things. On the other hand, it is not shock for shock's sake; absurdity and unpleasant laughs are sprinkled throughout, and for those who like it, it will be irresistible. Through conversations with strange residents and the accumulation of small events, the outline of the world slowly come…

Game just came out today (for early access), and having played Misha's Incident previously I thought I'd check this one out! Art and jokes are just like the last game, and being early access means that some of the elements are finicky, but overall I like it! Getting stuck in some segments for, well, an hour at the time :sob: was draining, but I've figured them out in the end so it's not a major issue. Looking forward to see this finished and play it then! Oh, and one last neat thing, I did also like the Russian historic/folklory design and environment elements, но возможно это потому-что я сам изначально из России :P

I stuck during flashback puzzle how to make recipe - I could answer corrected 2 recipes , but 3rd recipes I couldn't guess.. There are no further clues, just the words "my head hurt... after our characters try to get another recipe by head hit with tree." please fix this I don't understand.. it's too hard.
