Criminally underrated gemstone. This is how you make a proper Danganronpa inspired game. Surprisingly really solid writing and backstories for the characters and tying all 11 unwilling participants' backstories to correlate with the Game Master's motive was super clever and unique. While the game's cast is kinda tame compared to what you'd expect in a game like this, I think it works in its favor. I also really enjoy the settings changing each chapter, as it makes things fresh and keeps you wondering how someone will commit a murder in the current location. The trial system is also pretty good in this game, while I do wish there was at least SOME kind of penalty for failure, its not a deal breaker, as Game Overs in danganronpa just take you exactly back to where you left off, so having no stakes in trial cuts out a lot of wasted time with Danganronpa's character monologue cutscenes when they fail. My only gripes with this come with how abrupt the ending was. The mastermind was sort of obvious to figure out, but their motive did make up for it. I also found the music ear grating and repetitive, but thats a non issue when I can turn it off. If youre looking to scratch your…3 found this helpful
Short game (took 9 hours for me) clearly inspired by Danganronpa (which I loved, that's exactly what I was looking for). Cool characters, really interesting cases and locations and an intriguing mystery, tho I'm not sure if it was only me but at the ending I had no idea who the real mastermind was and just chose at random. For its price, it's really worth it if you're interested in playing danganronpa-like games. a bit of spoilers: I though the new rule of "each chapter has an assigned killer and if they don't kill anyone then everyoen dies" it's kind of lame, it takes out the motivation of the killer, which is an important factor in these games. That's why I thought I would be feeling the same "aww, they didn't deserve it, they didn't have a choice" for each killer, but surprisingly I only felt that way for a couple of killers. Also, I'm still mad at chapter 5 killing both my favourite characters and leaving me with a couple characters I didn't care much about

Ran into bugs (whole computer freezing, softlock) and missing basic Renpy QoL features (skip read text)
A Very decent danganronpa clone! Would've happily paid 5$ for this hidden gem. The writing and artstyle aren't perfect but the developer really did their best here. Hopefully we get more!
