About Temporian
Stranded in prehistoric times with a broken time machine, you must invent your way home by crafting over 100 unique items and managing a growing settlement through tough survival decisions. This turn-based strategy game ditches combat for deep resource management and meaningful choices that reshape your world, with multiple endings determined by your inventions and a multiplayer mode that lets you compete or cooperate with friends.

As the time traveler, you're tasked with creating resources that have yet to exist in this era. Utilize your ingenuity to (re)invent everything from apple pie to electricity, as each step brings you closer to your present-day home.
Over 100 Unique Recipes
Journey through centuries of innovation as you craft over 100 unique items. Every creation aids your quest to return to the present. Proceed with caution though, as careful planning is necessary for your settlement, and mastering new technologies, recipes, and meals will require clever combinations of cards.
Complex Dilemmas
Expansion of your settlement presents increasingly complex dilemmas. Will you invest in infrastructure, or expend limited resources on better tools and equipment? When settlers fall ill, will you allocate time to heal them, risking other aspects of survival? Choices matter, and like reality, there's rarely a single correct answer.

Multiple Endings
Your choices in Temporian ripple through time, drastically impacting the game's outcome. With numerous endings shaped by your actions, your inventions, and your time-altering decisions, reaching the future is one thing - but will it be the future you left behind?

No Combat, Just Strategy
Temporian foregoes combat, focusing instead on experimentation, planning, and consequential decision-making. Play at your own pace and feel no pressure to take unnecessary risks. It's your survival, and your strategy.
Multiplayer Campaign
Embark on a full multiplayer campaign in Temporian. Opt for cooperation or competition - the choice is yours. Aid your friends by sending tools, food, or resources to survive harsh winters, or use them to offload unwanted waste. Retaining the turn-based nature of Temporian, play with a friend, and see who can return home first, or work together and return at the same time. How you play is completely in your hands.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game as addictive and relaxing with good strategic depth, solid replay value, and effective Steam Deck performance, though some find the core card-combination mechanics fairly basic. Common complaints center on unclear tutorials (particularly around mechanics like curing sickness), tedious resource management that could be automated, and limited content variety, with suggestions for more events, themes, and quality-of-life features like search functionality in the recipe book.
As card-combination games goes it's about as basic as they come and not worth the squeeze.3 found this helpful
Great game! It's a shame, but it doesn't seem to be very popular. (yet?)2 found this helpful
like the game, it's not necessarily bad. A few suggestions - richer content (e.g. more special events / weathers / themes) - allowing resource collection to be automatic, it's tedious to have to maintain everything. - a search bar to the recipe book. Alphabetical is great but typing is faster.1 found this helpful
This is such a great, addictive game. I'm a Steam Deck user and love playing this on the deck. Still learning the game, but there are lots of things to discover and lots of decisions you can make, lot of replay value here. It's a very relaxing game, yet challenging at the same time. Definitely recommended to anyone who's looking for a survival game in the form of a card game. Great job!1 found this helpful
A good strategy game that requires planning and resource management. It reminds me of Stacklands, but it is more focused on survival and story. I enjoyed playing the game.
