About Grand Emprise: Time Travel Survival

TIME TRAVEL through history to BECOME GOD 🚀

Ride dinosaurs, forge tools, sail dunes, build a colony, siege castles, automate and fly, mine underground, launch to the moon, build a dyson sphere!

An insane, unforgettable and revolutionary survival crafting base building open world adventure.

SOLO DEVELOPED & SINGLEPLAYER ONLY

  • This game constantly introduces completely new features to create an exciting time travel adventure with a focus on high gameplay variety.
  • Each time era is intentionally short to keep the game constantly exciting, similar to games like It Takes Two and Spore.
  • This game follows a mostly linear tech tree and does not have modular building so you CANNOT create custom buildings. Don't expect a sandbox experience.

EXCITING TECHNOLOGY

Progress through time eras as you develop exciting technology!
  • Fight, tame, and ride dinosaurs & explore an ancient temple.
  • Forge iron tools as you make a primitive base and fight primal animals & caveman.
  • Sail desert dunes, face giant primal worms, and fight humans across multiple different times.
  • Build and manage a human tribe colony, explore an ice cave, discover waterwheel power, and take down a hostile colony.
  • Glide through landscapes, break into an ancient castle as you build siege weapons and battle soldiers, then explore a modern day museum.
  • Automate by building machines and generating electricity, produce plastic, fly a hot air balloon, and battle with tanks.
  • Construct and sail an industrial ship and aircrafts, then mine underground and build a rocket to launch to the moon.
  • Unlock a futuristic way to automate on the moon, drill the moon using your own rover, fight mechs on Future Earth, and build a Dyson Sphere!
  • Take off into space to discover and take control of a powerful alien artificial intelligence to go beyond this universe.

SURVIVAL FEATURES

  • CRAFTING & POWER: from forging your own stone tools and manually forging iron, to colonists & waterwheel power, electricity powered machines, and finally, a dyson sphere.
  • BASE BUILDING: from primitive houses to a tribal colony, industrial electrical zone, and futuristic gravity automation.
  • COMBAT: from throwing rocks and riding dinosaurs, to fighting animals and humans with primitive spears, sharp swords, guns, and explosives. And did I mention the tanks and mechs?
  • TRAVERSAL: traverse the eras in the coolest ways: dinosaurs, boats, paraglider, siege weapons, hot air balloon, industrial ship, aircrafts, and a spaceship...
  • GATHER: gather resources as you explore the different eras, each having different resources for new technology.

Do not buy this. The last update was in 2023, the game is full of bugs, and the story is totally rushed. The developer, Tbjbu2, has already moved on to other projects. From what I’ve seen, their strategy is to rush a game out every two years, drop a few months of updates, and then abandon it. Save your money and avoid games published by Tbjbu2.

As I was playing Grand Emprise, I couldn't figure out if I liked or disliked it. I think I liked it, but I'm still not entirely sure. It is a strange game. It is, mostly, a survival crafting game. You gather materials to make various items to help you survive or thrive. As a bonus, you get a time manipulation device that let's you travel between different points in time at will. You start off in the age of dinosaurs, collect some stuff to upgrade the time device and teleport away. Every once in a while, you get teleported to an arena of sorts where you fight a group of enemies or a single enemy that the game calls a boss. I found two slightly more difficult enemies than the average mob. I guess those were the boss fights. The game seems similar to Ark, but only in the mixture of dinosaurs with advanced technology. If you liked Ark, you'd probably enjoy a bit of this game. It does not suffer from the constant grind and XP-chasing you get with Ark. That's both a good thing and bad. The game seems almost non-interactive as far as a story. Other than the specific location where you place items, I imagine most people will experience the game in an almost identical way. The craf…

Anyone reading this review can buy this game if they wish to, but I think there are some things they should consider before doing so. The eras so far are boring in my opinion because all this game mainly is, is a fetch quest for resources to build the structures to progress the tech tree and you time travel to different eras just to get the resources you need. The arena where you fight gladiators is bad because there are no spectators in the seats so it is just empty excitement where the soundtrack seems to try to compensate for that. The graphics are good, but that is the very few things about this game that are good. The journey of this game is just a fetch quest for resources just to build structures for the main purpose of progressing the tech tree then transition to a new era and complete a few other missions. I thought the space age era was sort of cool and the map seemed endless unlike the other era maps but limited since you can't leave the moon to visit earth or fly close to the sun, but If you want this game play the demo first and wait for a discount.
