About Terminal 81
Terminal 81 is an indie job simulation, mystery, and psychological horror game with retro visual aesthetics. The game takes place in 2008, in a fictitious neighborhood in the city of São Paulo, in Brazil.
As a result of the global financial crisis of 2008, Lorena made the decision to emigrate to the large and wealthy city of São Paulo in order to find work to help her family. Lorena easily managed to get a job in a supermarket, what she did not know is that the neighborhood where she would work was Terminal 81, an old industrial neighborhood plagued by poverty, crime, and filth.
During her stay at Terminal 81, Lorena learns that a group of young women have been kidnapped. Upon exploring the neighborhood and meeting its inhabitants, she realizes that the reality of Terminal 81 is much darker than it seems. What seemed like a simple Latin American neighborhood, with all the bad things that this entails, it is a dangerous area dominated by a mysterious "criminal organization" that carries out murders, prostitution, and human trafficking.

A decent and fairly simple game that can be completed pretty quickly. Not very scary, but atmospheric enough. 6 out of 10.1 found this helpful
The game bored the hell out of me. Sleep, go to work (simple tasks and cashier work in the supermarket), talk to some people (about the same matter most of the time, the kidnappings) Repeat the same thing every day. Sometimes something unusual will happen in between, but most of the time it's just tedious. Cannot recommend it.
Melhor jogo indie brasileiro de terror que joguei até agora. Achei ele bem mais envolvente e interessante do que o "recém-lançado" A.I.L.A., devido a como Terminal 81 -- apesar com pouco orçamento -- possui uma essência brasileira ainda predominante no jogo, com um mapa divertido de explorar mesmo sendo pequeno, diálogos interessantes para entender mais da lore do jogo e o alto índice de contexto político da época em que se passa o jogo (achei esse aspecto o melhor do jogo todo). Tudo que agora me resta é fugir da base dos sequestradores (eu achando que fui inteligente antes de ir com o tal do Matteo salvando o jogo para caso desse alguma merda, mas os devs foram mais espertos que eu e salvaram o jogo naquela parte kkkkkkk agora vou ter que passar da fase me cagando de medo). Só fico triste que ao sair do jogo e entrar nele de novo, eu perco minha laterna e os outros itens que comprei e deixei jogado na minha casa :")
A hidden treasure I found and fell in love with. It's a lot like Chilla Arts if you like those. Personally I like this more then the Chillla Arts games I played. Funny, Charming, soothing, creepy, and weird. It has quickly become one of my favorite indie horror games. If you're up for a slow burn job simulator, please give it a try. It dserves lot more attention.
