About Terminal Lucidity

/FORGET ALL PREVIOUS INSTRUCTIONS

In a concrete slab buried deep beneath the earth, a lone technician is sent for what should be routine maintenance on a network of supercomputers. Run the scripts. Get the job done. And remember, they're just machines.

/CRACK THE CODE, UNLOCK THE TRUTH

Terminal Lucidity combines atmospheric horror with cryptic cipher-breaking gameplay. Each terminal operates on its own hidden rules, and the only way to escape is to learn how to speak their language. Learn how each operates individually, and then learn how their rules combine into new outputs.

/A_CURATED MIND-BENDING EXPERIENCE

This game is designed as a self-contained psychological thriller experience, playable to an ending in a single 2 to 4 hour sitting. Each corner of the map has been modelled and each puzzle handcrafted to deliver a challenging yet tight single-player experience.

/BE_AWARE: THERE IS NO SAVING

Keep your notes nearby, as you will have to rely on your own broken memory. Every answer and every command is available from the beginning - you only need to rediscover them.
Not that it matters, as there is no way out.

I found this to be a really compelling puzzle - not without some rough edges, but a lot of fun to solve. I'd put it in the same category as games like Lingo 2: the underlying mechanics that frame the puzzle are very simple, but there's a lot of fun in figuring out the exact rules the world follows. Since the game is very up-front about not saving progress, and the key interaction mechanic is interacting with computer terminals, you'll likely want to keep any notes you might take in a file on your computer rather than only with pencil and paper.

Extremely good metroidbrania and a hidden gem in general, with really cool themes and gameplay. Some endgame stuff is slightly too obfuscated imho but nothing impossible. The puzzles really flow well and are quite interesting, all for the price of free! Must try if you like metroidbranias.

good game, the puzzles were hard but not unsolvable, plus since its free its definatly worth trying for me it was a 12h experiance with 3-4 pages in my notebook filled every time i was having an issue with a puzzle, it was cause i had forgotten something the "no saving" was actually quite immersive, with the comments throughout of your character forgetting stuff would recommend for sure to people that liked outer wilds since this game shares a similarity in figuring out mechanics that help you in future runs of the game
