Whether a game is good or bad often comes down to a lot of little decisions made well or poorly rather than grand ideas, and this game really fouled up a lot of basic stuff that adds up to a bad game. The way professions work is wonky, like miners and lumberjacks are part of the same job assignment so you're constantly having to babysit how much wood and stone you're telling them to gather, as they'll always just go for what is closest so you have to keep doing it in small batches. Everything paths to the top left of objects so coming up with efficient layouts is a bit of a lost cause. You have to build objects in a very specific order to get things down the line unlocked so I'm not making decisions on what to build so much as I'm following directions and waiting. When push came to shove I just didn't feel like I was playing a game. In something like DF or ONI right out of the gate I'm making decisions about how to allocate labor and what to build, I'm making decisions about layouts, avoiding hazards, setting up logistics, in this game I'm just kinda building stuff in the order they tell me in the exact amount they tell me and obnoxiously micromanaging resources, with nothing stand…10 found this helpful
Lots of bugs/problems. One is - even though there is plenty of silver in treasury they will not move it to trading post nor can i use it to pay for trades. People are eating raw food when the dining hall has over 1000 simple food. Clothing I have plenty of but people still get colds and get the warnings stacking about people not having clothing.6 found this helpful
Just wanted to see my time played.1 found this helpful
A surprisingly deep game which blends just enough multiplayer into the city builder genre to keep a group of friends engaged and progressing together.1 found this helpful
Very fun, could use a touch better UI but great gameplay loop
fun.wish there were more guides/english guides but every problem i've had i've been able to figure out and i haven't had any glitches at all. runs well. micromanaging if you like that kind of thing
