The Blood Mage by Daniel da Silva

Really great game! enjoying it a lot so far. At first it's confusing like any puzzle, then the pieces quickly fall into place and I think I've figured things out. the game is surprisingly forgiving when it comes to mistakes and you can recover instead of it being a run killer. I fell out of the world once, that was fun, never happened since tho. you can save so my progress wasn't lost. honestly for that price its really well thought out, you can tell effort was put into it. definitely worth more than its current price, I was very pleasantly surprised when I had very low expectations going into this. The game lets you figure things out, one discovery leads to another and suddenly it all make sense and you're counting monsters' health points just to get by. The mechanics are simple and graphics are endearing in a nostalgic way. the layout can be confusing to navigate without a mini map but maybe that was intentional to resemble older games. Edit: the dev has fixed the bug I've encountered since the review, so I removed the section about them :)
