[h1]FTL Meets LucasArts, But the Save System is Stuck in 2006[/h1] The way I see it, the creators of this game tried to merge two entirely different genres: an FTL-style roguelite and classic adventure games. Similar to [i]FTL[/i], you whizz through the galaxy, desperately trying to reach Earth before the bad guys do. And just like [i]FTL[/i], you have shops for repairs and upgrades, tactical space battles, and strict travel time constraints. However, where it differs is that on every planet you encounter, you can land and enter the "Adventure game" part of the loop. You get narrative stories, away missions, and choices that directly affect the plot and the specific bonuses you get on that planet. [b]The Good: The Space Combat Hook[/b] The space battles in this game are genuinely fun and mechanically solid. You can actually see the enemy strategies in advance, allowing you to select your own counters accordingly. The upgrade loop is satisfying: you can build, buy, and upgrade a variety of weapons. Since there are distinct weapon types and corresponding shields to counter them, it feels highly tactical. Combine that with a steady progression of ship difficulty over time, and y…

I got this for the nostalgia factor. Played it for a while and remembered - back in the day - I never really liked point and click adventures. I'd always rather read a good book. So, no, this game is not for me. But if you like point & click, then maybe you'll love it!

This has got to be one of the best point and clicks games ive ever played. And Ive played everything. Plus this has to be the one ive replayed the most. There is just SO MUCH to do in this game, the story is great and the characters are funny as hell. Art is spot on and the music as well. The puzzles are not overlycomplicated but depending the route you choose it can get tricky! and for once, a game in which your actions ACTUALLY HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

A hidden gem of a game. Star Trek vibes. The locations are beautiful. The tiny characters against huge backgrounds is a cool perspective.

My name is Guybrush Threepwood, middle-aged pirate, and I walk around with a suicide pill for no given reason. A great point and click adventure game for when you're not sure if you're not sure if you're in the mood for typical SCUMMVM silliness, or serious sci-fi with reality-is-stranger-than-fiction moral dilemmas. Sometimes mixed as well as water, oil and half as much emulsifier you'd need for it to actually mix well in your blender. Don't get me wrong, I like this game. But it sure is an odd one.
