Good game, good story

I tried the first game, hoping that it was some type of RPG maker survival horror game and was severely disappointed. I was hoping this game would correct the errors of the first game and well... it did not. So on top of the cons of the first game that I posted in review: -too simple -repetitive audio tracks -repetitive game play -repetitive puzzles -some of that world building was unnecessary We can add: -awful story This game has repetitive game play in terms of the clown chasing you. Almost every time you meet the killer clown, you commence a chase sequence, and not a fun one. Plus you have to solve more mundane puzzles like "find the key to the lock." But in this game, you play as 2 protagonists so not only will you perform these mundane tasks, you do it twice. I believe the worst offender is the story. Slight spoilers: In this game, it picks up right from the last game. You survive the clown's attacks and escape. In your escape you find another person. Instead of calling the police about a killer clown, going to the hospital for your injuries, or just letting it go, for some reason the protagonist from the first game goes back to find the clown, while also suckerin…

A rip roarin' good time. I am 100% not joking when I say this, I need the third game injected directly into my veins. I have been having a blast playing these games because they are so ridiculous. They are over the top in a way that text just isn't going to convey properly. You may think that you know what's coming and you could not in a million years guess what the story is going to do. This game is a soap opera through and through with a cast of some 25 characters across both games. Some of whom just straight up disappear and are completely written out of the second game. I'm talking of course about everyone's favorite character, Ethan. I really hope that the RIP message at the end of the game wasn't for that voice actor. Sorry about your friend. Other than the various intense story changes from the first game to the second (I'd love to know why a lot was changed from the first game to the second, mr or miss developer) this game was just fun to play through and worked great other than the lag in the chases. Perhaps if I played the first I would have been more inclined to finnish it but the game was kidna meh. Pros: - Good use of the RPG Maker-esque Elements - The horror vibe was pretty good for a pixel art game - The prologue was neat Cons: - Really relies on the first game - Gives true horror sequel vibes - Price may be a lil more then what one would expect to pay for this I will say it's peeked my interest enough that I want to look into the first one but as a stand alone it wasn't enough to keep me engaged to see the end. I think it's a decent ish game but you may want to play the first and then decide so at this point i give it a slight yes because middle of the line isn't an option.

Short and sweet horror game. Gets right to the point seems to be a series that continues itself in each game. Would recommend if you are looking for a horror game that gets right to the point with an actual story.
