Crosswalks you must not cross—unless something is wrong.Look carefully to the right, to the left, and all around before you step forward.Some crosswalks may show no anomalies at all.---◎Rules

There are two types of crossings: pedestrian crossings (when no anomaly occurs) and anomalous crossings (when an anomaly occurs).
For pedestrian crossings, no anomalies occur, so it is always safe to cross whenever the signal sounds.
For anomalous crossings, an anomaly may occur while the signal is sounding. An anomaly does not happen every time the signal sounds.Therefore, you need to observe the stage several times while the signal is active. Patience, observation, and decision-making skills are required.
When you spot an anomaly, cross the road while the anomaly is occurring. Even in stages with anomalies, crossing when none are active is very dangerous.
As a general guideline: if you check and see that no anomalies occur after several observations, it can be treated as a normal pedestrian crossing and you may cross.However, if you simply haven't noticed an anomaly yet, it will come down to luck.
In some cases, you may not be able to cross the entire road at once, but if you manage to cross at least half of it, you’ll be fine.You can then wait for the next signal to complete the crossing.

This game is crap. The directions are as clear as mud. Cross with an anomaly? Get hit by a car. Cross with no anomaly? Get hit by a car. Cross pretty much at any time? Car. And no graphics or volume settings. Big thumbs down.

BEE BOO, BEE BOO, BEE BOO, BEE BOO. BEE BOO, BEE BOO, BEE BOO, BEE BOO. You begin without so much as a title screen, let alone instructions, so you better have read the store page...tho it probably won't help you much. The street is weird to begin with, the bridge lady stares at you, an old man stands sideways instead of lying down, the bench lady is tweaking, and the one guy talks to himself. Also, judging by your characters reflection, I assume you play as a giant walking pair of pants. Unlike most Exit 8-likes, where you go forward if there's no anomalies, and back if there are, you can only go forward ...and only when there IS an anomaly...so it's very counter-intuitive...and it means the core gameplay loop is you standing there like a dork until something different happens, THEN you can cross... ...OR CAN YOU? You see...some anomalies that occur, are apparently FALSE anomalies, that don't count, such as the crazy-guy talking to himself's shirt color, or the lady jogging on the overpass...there are probably more...meaning sometimes even if there is a very obvious difference visible...it may be "fake" and get you killed....this is the game breaker.
