The Demon's Apple - Otome Game

Not awful, but really not great. I can't recommend this game, but it had potential, so I have some feedback. The English translation falls quite flat. There are just some weird bits that aren't polished in the dialogue. I can't speak for the original script, but based on the game as a whole, both leads feel... just devoid of all personality. That's one thing for a MC that players might just self-insert with, but the love interest should probably have a bit more substance. He was cute enough but totally boring, which ruins it. For a game advertised as having adult content, it was extremely tame, basically just lackluster. The only actual nudity was the MC's (the girl you play as, to be very clear) nipples, lol. Just really not what I was expecting or hoping for in that regard. Felt a little shortchanged as I was mainly buying this for the sake of supporting an up-and-coming NSFW otome game, which is a somewhat underserved niche. As for positives of this game, I liked the art style and some concepts. The plot was soo meh by the end- I was expecting way more to actually be addressed and fleshed out, but it just wasn't. I didn't like how no matter what she didn't get angry. Like in the beginning you don't even really have the choice to NOT heal him? he attacks her but she just lets it slide? i donno he pissed me off and by proxy she did too.

Going in after seeing the negative reviews, I kept my expectations low especially when it comes to the writing. Despite that, I genuinely enjoyed the game! The plot is definitely cliche, but it scratches a very specific itch I have for the “non-human boy and human girl” trope. The CGs are beautiful, and the soundtrack is really calming. If you're looking for a simple, funny turn off your brain kinda visual novel, this is it!

I enjoyed this adult Visual novel. The CG is lovely. The only downside is the writing. It felt fast and forced. As an author I can tell that the script needs more editing, but that can be easily fixed in future updates. I hope this creator continues to make visual novels because the content is good.

I really enjoyed playing this game ♥ The story kept me interested in wanting to know more about the characters and what would happen. I went through a lot of emotions! The transitions on some scenes were really soothing to see and I really loved experiencing some scenes ♥ I also love the design of the main characters ♥ This is a really great project made with passion ♥

I had such a great time playing this game ! I first played the demo sometimes ago and was kinda intrigued with the story and the relationship between Pomme and Styx especially... For me its a 7-8/10 ! 📖 I'll say the descriptive writing at the beginning seems kinda odd, but that's like 5 minutes of the game and I was rapidly swept in the story ! The pacing was good, there was just a moment near the end that I found kinda slow but nothing to keep me from finishing the story that I liked overall. ❤️‍🔥 I really liked the interactions between Styx and Pomme, the way she was garded and even scared of him at first, how he was clearly not nice (and that's an understatement) from the get gow... And then the evolution of their relationship was.... hot owo It can seem quick but the game is not very long so it make sence to me. And I liked how they learn about each other, with the cooking for Styx, the work of Pomme, how he wants to help her and the flirt that can come with it 😉 There were really sweet moments as well as spicy ones! And the illustrations that went with all those moments are soooo good ! I loved how they were animated and the rendering, the lighting... really beautiful …
