About The Empty Eyes

The game's theme:In The Empty Eyes, you play a private detective investigating the mysterious disappearance of an influential lawyer. The game takes place in a house where every room seems to be watching you, and every silence weighs more than a scream. As you explore, you'll discover that the lawyer was behind a series of disappearances. What begins as a routine investigation spirals into a spiral of paranoia, hidden symbols, and a presence that shouldn't exist.Environment:Enter a house where every corner exudes unease. The Empty Eyes immerses you in a first-person psychological horror experience, designed to make you feel the weight of loneliness and the constant threat of the invisible.Explore endless hallways and rooms steeped in symbolism, while a supernatural presence watches you from the shadows. Architecture, sound, and darkness conspire to blur the lines between reality and imagination.Features:
  • Psychological Horror: Atmospheres, tension, and a constant feeling of being followed.
  • Environmental Narrative: Uncover the story through objects, documents, and visual details that reward observation.
  • Disturbing Aesthetics: Dark, gloomy settings, visual distortions, and architecture that seems alive.
  • Progressive Investigation: Each clue brings you closer to a truth you might prefer not to know.
Developer's Note:The entity that inhabits this house isn't out to physically harm you... but it may leave its mark on your mind. The Empty Eyes is designed to provoke discomfort, anxiety, and a persistent sense of surveillance. We recommend caution for those with heart conditions, a fear of the dark, or a deep fear of loneliness. This game doesn't scream, it whispers. And its whispers may stay with you.

In this game you find a key to open a door, then a key to open a door, and more keys to open more doors. Then, at a certain point...you find a door to open a key, and vice versa and versa vice. I got to the part where I have 2 balls and I can't place them where I need to...so maybe the right place is on the dev's face. Seriously, got stuck can't find the next key. Failed experience.

this game is a solid game, but it has one gigantic flaw that almost makes me want to give it a negative review. The house as you progress through it becomes a gigantic labyrinth. There's one particular part at the end with the silver key when I was about 10 minutes before the end of the game that I got lost and spent over an hour trying to figure it out before I had to look up a Youtube tutorial. There's absolutely no guidance in the game to show you where to go, and if you don't look up a tutorial at some point you could permanently get lost. I'm still going to give the game a thumbs up, but the developers need to implement something to give a basic amount of guidance to the player.

John Neill was right leave and never come back to speak of this existence. I've mourned the loss of my sanity throughout this game. The jumpscares? Terrifying. Atmosphere? Nightmare fuel. I will never sleep the same again after trenching through the seven layers of hell. After beating the game, I had to wipe this game from my files and computer altogether in hopes to release Eleanor's cursed spirit. 10/10 Gutteral screams, can be seen on our YT @Marizzie. W and GG's.

I enjoyed this but I am pretty sure I like all games from this studio so its a no brainer that I was such a fan of this game as well. I really like the atmosphere and how they didnt let you wander around for minutes before more action was around the corner and the levels really sucked you into the atmosphere of how wrong everything was. Also the story was compelling and very dark at the end.
