The plot is rather well thought of and most character interactions, bad ends excluded, are a delight to read, that includes problems and miscommunication as well as friendly banter and heartfelt support. Characters talk about stuff, they work on it, they kinda do counseling for each other, that's one of the things I don't see in otome much and it's a shame. This was a very nice, cosy VN, and I enjoyed reading it a lot! The head well lost is, as the short summary so succinctly describes, a romance story between a librarian and a pop star (who just so happens to be headless). The story opens when our protagonist, Francis (whose name can be changed in-game), pairs with the mysterious Rai on a dating app, and the two hit it off. They begin to learn more about one another, and they gradually open up through series of text messages which are fun to read (the phone UI is really cute, and I love how the characters use emojis and have distinctly different ways of typing too). Then, after talking to one another a little, the two end up meeting in person, where it's revealed that Rai is actually a pop star from the band DRYDEN... and he's also a dullahan without a head. Francis is pretty thrown by this, as one might expect, but she resolves to make the relationship work. Whether it actually works, however, is up to the player, as there's quite a lot of choices scattered throughout. Finally finished the VN, and I could tell the storywriter did A LOT of researching. I enjoyed the story, art, and how the background music changed at appropriate times to appropriate musics. Hopefully I can get the other endings soon as well.

I love how unique this game feels. thank you for bringing it to life. Update: I have finished all 9 endings , I would say the biggest problem with the game is the difficulty of knowing which choices lead to which ending, some games give hints , but there are no much hints here, I've so far been on 97% read and I think I am pretty much stuck with my progress, as there are absolutely no way to read the remaining text without trying every possibility which would take a long time, I've really liked Rai's character and chemistry with Virgil, but I wish there was some sort of epilogue , I felt like the story just abruptly ended and the last ending gives somewhat of a depressing feeling , all in all tho , its one of the best games I played, I think my only complaint is how difficulty it's to avoid bad endings and to get all endings.

I'm amazed that this game isn't talked about more! It's a really great visual novel. The dialogue (especially the exchanged text messages) is honestly one of the more natural I've encountered in a VN. The relationship is super sweet! Even with the extraordinary circumstances, it really felt natural and believable. Also fantastic soundtrack. And the 18+ scenes are [chef's kiss] jus sayin I definitely recommend people try the demo -- it's an extremely generous demo that takes you through about 25% of the game. You get a great feel for the style of writing and the dynamic between the two main characters. Note that you will have to manually copy your save files to the full game, though, if you want to continue with that save. My only minor gripe is that I wish the dialogue was colour-coded for who is speaking, since the UI does not clarify (except for in phone calls where there is colour coding?). In most cases you can use context to tell who is speaking, especially since for the majority of the game there are only ever two people in conversation at a time. Good simple otome to read. +1 for the love interest being a non-human entity, we need more of it. At first it was kinda difficult to stay focused in the story because there is a lot of text. So I've been reading between many sessions but I was happy to reach one of the endings (got the the assistant end and it is my favorite). I'm also thankful that there is a player's guide, I wouldn't have all the endings without it plus it was interesting to see how the stats worked and what route it triggers. Overall, I would recommend if you like cosy story, dating a dullahan and if you don't mind taking your time to read this visual novel.
