The Immortal Is Watching is a small-scale narrative RPG built around observation, judgment, and the consequences of seemingly simple choices. Developed and published by 〖方式〗, it places the player in the unusual role of a Little Flower Fairy residing at a shrine. Instead of embarking on a conventional adventure filled with battles and equipment, the fairy listens to the wishes of visitors and decides which blessings to grant them. This immediately gives the game a different personality from traditional RPGs, with its focus placed almost entirely on interacting with characters, interpreting their circumstances, and discovering how one decision can influence later events. The central gameplay mechanic is deliberately easy to understand. Visitors come to the shrine with personal wishes, concerns, and desires, while five wooden plaques provide different blessings that can be bestowed upon them. Choosing a plaque influences what happens to that character afterward.
