CHIBI NINJA is a ruthless 2D Puzzle platformer. Play as The Legendary Hero and destroy hordes of mechanical beasts to save your world from a mind controlling extraterrestial clown parasite using detonable BOMB SHURIKENS. Be very wary though, you can only endure one single hit.
Explore 8 chapters full of action and exploration and get to the root of all evil as fast as you can before QUEEN AEUS brainwashes all the citizens of the world.

I actually really like this game. The movement feels crisp and the mechanics are fun and intuitive. There is a lot of content for a free game, and the levels provide a nice gradual increase in difficulty over time. The assets might be on the simpler side, but I would never fault a solo indie dev for not having an art budget. The game feels good to play, and was fun enough that I finished it in one 3 hour sitting, which is rare for me to stay glued to a game from start to finish. The soundtrack is also really good, and it seems like the dev made the music himself, I've been listening to some of the songs outside of the game casually. For being a free game, this is an easy recommend for anyone who enjoys action platformers to at least try.3 found this helpful

> what's good Platforming is. I like how short, puzzle-oriented levels alternate with longer, gotta-go-fast levels. Bosses are good even though they are (easy) bullet hells. Few of them are rather challenging, at least for the first time. The true final boss (and the escape sequence) is fantastic. I enjoy the "ugly" graphics a lot. Especially the sort of low poly 3D backgrounds like from the beginning of 90s. Very distinct visual identity. The soundtrack is uplifting and energetic. > what could be better Some QoL features would really help the game to move from "good" to "great". I like the very fast paced 2d platforming with the short puzzle levels. Art direction is simple yet effective too, almost ps1-ish but all 2d.
