About The Math Problem Killer

INTENSE TACTICAL GUN COMBAT

The Math Problem Killer is about intense close quarter gun fighting. You are a hostage rescue operator with the Tactical Response Unit and your mission is to rescue the hostage being held at the end of several dungeons. You will need to fight your way through each room of these dungeons, and each room will be filled with highly lethal adversaries. You will need to watch you right, left, font and back. You will need to peak around corners, and aim down your pistol's sights. And if you make one mistake, and get hit once, you will die and respawn at the checkpoint at the beginning of the room. This game is unforgiving, so it is time to get tactical. Good luck special agent!

A vicious gang, known as The Math Problem Killer Gang, named after their sadistic leader, is terrorizing the city of New Columbia. In response to the gang's evil actions, an elite Task Force has arrived to combat the gang. You are part of this task force as a member of the Task Force's elite Tactical Response Unit. You will need to fight your way through the dungeon to the very end to reach the hostage. Each dungeon is composed of 5-7 rooms. Each room will be a challenging gunfight.

ONE HIT...AND YOUR DEAD

The Math Problem Killer is a high consequence tactical action game. That means if you get hit once, you are killed and must restart at the checkpoint at the beginning of the room. You must clear the entire room without getting hit once, in order to reach the next checkpoint. This game is all about tactics.

OPTIONAL RECORDINGS LEFT BY THE MATH PROBLEM KILLER

As you progress through the Math Problem Killer Gang's strongholds, you will find recordings left by the leader of the gang, The Math Problem Killer. The Math Problem Killer is a sadistic and violent monster. He enjoys stalking, and torturing his victims. He also enjoys bragging about his exploits even more. Throughout each dungeon you will find recordings left by the killer. In each recording, he will recount with delight the various methods he employed to capture and torture his victims. These recordings include disturbing accountings of murder and violence towards, men, women and children. Listening to these recordings is ENTIRELY OPTIONAL. Your only objective is the rescue of the hostage at the end of the level. If you do not want to listen to recordings left by a deranged serial killer, you do not have to.

okay so Its a decent game, what it needs is settings, a save function during levels because we all don't wanna restart a level all over again. Add controller support losing to many players that way in my opinion.

I liked the premise of this one. It does somethin' a bit different with the walkin' sim horror genre. Who'd a thought ya'd have to solve math problems to save some hostages. The game ran fine for me tho some in the reviews didn't such luck. I like that it features voice over work..always a plus with me. I don't liek that if you fail ya have to watch the whole beginning sequence all over again. it can't be skipped. Despite that, the atmosphere and the detail of the stories that the killer lays out for us is nicely done. The price tag could be a bit lower but it's fine. A rather intriguing psychological horror game where our task is to solve mathematical word problems. The graphics and environmental elements look good, and although the game lacks options to change graphics and sound, personally it's not a major issue for me as the game maintains a steady 60 FPS without any lags, and I haven't encountered any crashes either. What I miss the most in this game are death scenes for characters when entering the wrong code. Overall, it's quite an interesting game that requires some thinking from the player. Soooo....the TLDR is that this game used to be a math game, but the developers got rid of the math, and added guns, and now the guns are super fun. Definitely recommend. Ok...now for a slightly longer version. I didn't play the math game version, but the shooting is super fun. I am only about an hour into the game, and I like it. The levels I have played a linear. You start, go into a large space with a bunch of guys, then you need to find a key that opens the door to the next area, and you repeat the process until you reach the hostage your trying to save. I did come across one bug. sometimes you will pick up the key and go to the door, but the door still says its locked, so you have to got get the key a second time and then it works. Definitely a little annoying but not a deal breaker for me. Also, there are recordings you can listen to, buuuutt, they are a little disturbing, so you might want to skip them and stick to the shooting. The shooting is pretty basic but fun. You only have silenced pistol, but you have unlimited magazines. you can lean left, and lean right, and aim down sights. Enemies kill you in one hit, so you learn pretty quick to stand behind a wall and …

Definitely a unique "horror" game. I am very sucked into it at this point and about 25% complete. This is a first person game, but I would classify it as a narrative driven puzzle game. The stories are so good and demented. I don't know how the person who came up with the game's stories can come up with such dark material, but they knocked it out of the park! It's kind of like a new take on Saw. I think if you go into this game with the expectation that it will only involve a little walking around, a lot of voiced narration, writing down clues, a ton math problem solving to advance, you are going to have a lot of fun. So far I've only ran into basic math like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. There are some long equations, so remember to solve them as spoken, not by following the order of operations, which is exactly how I think it should be done when an equation is spoken, and I applaud the game creator for that. I should also add that the game is gorgeous and runs really really well. https://youtu.be/fZjxttPJCVI
