for starters, i have put well over 2.5 hrs into this game if it says less thats a steam glitch. this is my completely honest review of this game and my review may contain spoilers. to begin, id rate this game a 6/10. the game is excellent and well made, but the reason for taking off 3 points is one of the endings (if you mess up and break the code integrity and cause an alternate (might be a main ending accully idk), then you have to completely restart the game. this is incredibly annoying, esspecially considering how long it takes js to take off the screws on the boards for the doors. to be completely honest, it took me an hour and a half js to get past the first day, not counting how long it took me to figure out the computer password. reallly all i want is to experience all the cool features and gameplay promised in the youtube videos about the development of the game made by AAlex's yt channel, but i keep doing the thing to break the game and it resets all of my progress. i would really like for a way to be able to play the game without this ending screwing me up every time, so like maybe add a save game feature? or make it more rare for the game to break? ig might js have a…6 found this helpful

I SEE THE VISION. But the game is almost unplayable in this state. I'd suggest doing some playtests and making some patches because dude, I can barely get past the first few tasks. I've been following the dev logs so I know that this has some great potential, but right now it's just kind of annoying to play. I really hope this gets an update in the future because it looks amazing and I honestly didn't even know it came out already. Like, I know the bugs are intentional and it's supposed to crash but it's wayyyy too often and I hate having to restart so much. At LEAST add checkpoints or something because those planks of wood are going to make me lose my mind. I'm gonna keep playing to see if I can at least get past day 1 but for now it's more of a rage game than a horror game. Also add a hotdog, there should be a hotdog.
I keep softlocking myself, and it's hard to figure out what to do at the beginning. "find a way inside the store" isn't a sufficient hint, and maybe it was just me being stupid, but I did not even see the rug in front of the staff only exit... but there's a softlock that you can get yourself in without even knowing. at the very start, you can waste your money to pay off your debt, leaving you with nothing, and unable to progress, because one of the tasks is to buy things from the shop. no money to buy it? no progression. meaning softlock. please fix the softlock wtih the money thx. I wanted to play the game but got too frustrated in the tutorial :( I rage quit several times, but that was likely due to stupidity. at least most of the time.
