The shaved ice shop

This game was a buggy mess. I had to reboot it and try again just to get the coffee mechanic to work. I tried on someone else on my family's account on a different computer and had the same issue. Can not recommend at thsi time until it is patched out. Would love to review again once it's playable.

Honestly Really wanted to like this game. I love cozy horror games like this but it was just nothing for 1 and a half hours. Making drinks and shaved ice was not fun nor interesting it was slow and clumsy and the scares did not make up for it. The ghost at the begining was not explained nor did my character die like it said happened. This game is just a mess and a cheap knockoff of other better games. Def not worth the time or money.

Bought this game on a whim to try it, Cozy Horror genre is typically what I tend to go for. In Shaved Ice Shop you play two people (a couple) and are assigned to work a small cafe style shop for customers. The atmosphere I give a solid 8.5/10 because some wall textures are a bit repetitive for the apartment building you live in and can be confusing. The learning curve for the drinks are a bit difficult to understand at first and *there is still some polishing that should be done* for the drinks, as I made the same drinks over and over until the customer accepted them. If you move too fast (for example pouring milk) items will sometimes duplicate and stay in the air. So for mechanics I think I would give it a 7 since it could be worked on. The story wasn't necessarily spooky but tragic, which I don't particularly mind however it could have had a prologue to explain the backstory of the couple. It keeps you guessing until the end but the suspense does not payoff for the main ending you get. Overall for the story I say is a 8 as it doesn't scream "notice the first npc as I will haunt the narrative" but gives a more lax, and good starting ground for a cozy horror game which requires yo…

Another menial task horror game, this time it barely works! The controls in this game felt like they worked a total of 50% of the time. I didn't even make it to the horror aspect of the game because the tasks were so lame and undercooked that I just got frustrated and quit. If I wanted to be scared and work for minimum wage I would just work at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Beat the game with 60% achievements. A super cool and trippy realistic horror game taking place in a colorfully lit city in a coffee shop where you go through each work day going home and repeating for 7 days. you are chased by a gruesome knife killer and you must stop them and escape. Super hilarious story, narration and death moments that will leave your mind blown. Top notch immersion and fun gameplay
