The Minesweeper

It's minesweeper with a bit of comedy in it. We do need more game modes off the top of my head a battleship pvp mode would be amazing. In this pvp mode you choose tiles for each other trying to blow the opponent up first with a bomb. I do recommend lossless scaling on the Steam Deck. My friend and I tested the game together in co-op and had a blast playing for several hours! Creating lobbies was smooth, and sending invites worked without any issues. The core gameplay is executed really well. Although it feels a bit too RNG-heavy (luck-based) at the start, it would be awesome if revealing the very first tile was guaranteed to open up a larger area (though I’m not sure how easy that is to implement). We immediately felt the urge to beat our high scores across different difficulty levels, which was super rewarding. However, it was a bit disappointing that the timer isn't visible during the run and only shows up once you finish. Adding a global leaderboard for record times in a future update would be amazing! Character customization is a nice touch, and the music (when turned on) is exceptionally well chosen—very calming and great for staying focused. Before anything else, we had a really great time playing this in co-op. It's a fun game, and we enjoyed our session overall. The music is banger. Games ran fluidly. We did run into a few minor quirks and issues. Addressing them, we think could make the experience even better: - It would be nice to have an option to disable in-game voice chat, as I could hear my friend through the game even though we were already talking via Discord. - Bomb placement feels a little inconsistent. It's like this dev KNEW I suddenly had a hankerin' to play Minesweeper again for the first time in a few decades, and they went and slapped this together. Did not disappoint.

Love it. A modern version of a beloved classic.
