This game is an absolute GEM! Not only it´s really atmospheric and scary, the jumpscares being random, not cheap, different everytime you play, but many of them are subtle and you can miss them. The haunt system is really clever, acting upon your actions, reacting to your gameplay. Every playthrough is unique. The story is amazing, characters human, relatable, not black and white. The acting is phenomenal! I fell in love with this game immediately (I first played it on PS5, so I have more hours played there) and frequently come back to it. I´m looking forward to a DLC and/ or a sequel!
Played this all the way through with a friend over Discord, took us a while to get all endings but it was worth it. This is the perfect indie horror game. It has seemingly endless randomised scares (some of which got us real good), it builds tension and atmosphere really effectively, the hidden lore and the criteria to unlock different endings are fun, and the routine of embalming bodies is a morbidly enjoyable one. We encountered almost no bugs either, except a single one that required a quick reload. Can't recommend this enough.
