"The phantom of the city"is a full motion video exploration narrative game.Game will bring the player into someone's memory link, find the correct memory fragment by prompting, and piece together the story and truth behind the memory.Unknown secrets wait for your exploration, maybe everyone will have their own answer!
· The game is all built from real motion video
· Some images look fuzzy a bit, and sometimes people's memory seems like this too
· You will observe those familiar spaces in the city from a new perspective
· Don't ignore any information details, including images, text, sounds, etc.
· Find the correct link information in the memory image by prompting
· Link information is the "key" to enter the next piece of memory fragment
· Each level tries to tell a small story about the protagonist

It's a hidden object game, but instead of mostly static images, you're searching a video of a mundane scene in the real world. Good idea, bad implementation. What's good is that when you're focused on the details in these mundane movie clips, you see or imagine meaning in them. You're extracting (or constructing in your own mind?) a story within them. What's bad is that the clues are junk, at least in English. Maybe they are bad translations or maybe they're trying to retain a poetic ambiguity from the source language that doesn't work in English. I made it to level 15 plus the 2 or 3 levels of the tutorial. In all those 17 or 18 levels, I knew what I was clicking on exactly 4 times (2 of those in the tutorial). At all other times, I had to click on systematically selected portions of the scene until I got lucky. I had no idea what portion of the scene was the sweet spot indicated by the clue. It's frustrating because the game's difficulty derives from being nonsense rather than from requiring skill or thought. It's a failed execution, in my opinion. What might work better is a similarly scene-based game but where you find multiple events, in sequence, in a single scene…11 found this helpful
Nice game, but short and not difficult. However I liked this style of gameplay, there need to search goals in the video. Video is atmospheric with instrumental music and a little plot.4 found this helpful
