some of the story elements felt strange ad out of place, certain gameplay elements were incredibly janky, character animations/models were mostly uncanny, but imo none of the flaws in this game matter even a little bit when compared to all the positives. the visuals when exploring memories are incredible. probably my favorite visuals from any game ever. the way that the game played with the concept of memory, and the way things were twisted and abstracted, just so good. admittedly really complex to finish and definitely required walkthroughs at a few points but so worth it.
fascinating game. definetely for Lacan fans but there's so much more... the easter eggs from literature, art, politics and the idea to walk around dreams I loveeeeeeeee it!!!!!!!
Pretty good, but very janky and rough around the edges. It's mostly a walking sim/detective game, so gameplay-wise there isn't a lot going on. But exploring the memories is done in a very unique way. The story also has some inteteresting ideas about AI. Might be worth it if it's on sale and you don't mind reading parts of the story and just standing there, listening to the dialog.
(my own personal opinion) HORIBLE, from the start i had problems, while having xinput controllers fully supported, the game sometimes didnt register my controller, sometimes it did but managed to freeze until input from keyboard and mouse. I was struggling to do anything, it was incredibely annoying, spent almost 30 minutes in game for a sequence that normally takes less than 10. Other than that the game runs very smoothly on my "worse" pc, it's optimized and features fun mechanics that would've been good, if not for my personal struggles with the playthrough. If you're playing on keyboard it might be a good pick, however I do not plan to play it, or rather finishing it.
Slow, long loading times and feels like work. Also the controls are weird and context-sensitive, making it seem like a badly camouflaged and over-complicated walking sim. The only positive is that it is technically playable with only 8 GB of RAM.
This was a surprisingly interesting and relevant game that delves into the nature of AI and consciousness. It's a bit unpolished, but still well worth experiencing.
