About The Song Out of Space

In 1962, during the height of the Cold War, twelve astronomers at a deep-space observatory were found dead. Because of the proximity of an important military base, two federal agents were sent to investigate any Russian involvement… And what they found was from beyond this world.
Find out what really happened that night by exploring a town full of suspects with something to hide, and stop it from ever happening again.
Choose to play as federal agent Catherine Armstrong, a young recruit with excellent scientific skills, or as Stuart Ross, a street-smart veteran. Their unique skills and personality will change how the story unfolds.
And whatever you do, try to keep your sanity!

- Two playable characters, each with its own story routes, dialogs, and personality.
- 3 investigation routes, 4 endings, and dozens of secrets to reveal.
- Unique retro visual style that mixes pixel art with photography
- Original 80’s creepy synth soundtrack.
- Click-and-point mechanics.

I got 4 endings, but there are more options I have to do and find out some more stuff, Wasn't too bad of a game, I really like the pixelated art style, but it does seem to be quite a short game, but then again I do have a bit more options to unlock but I'd say it would be 2 to maybe 2 hours and 30 minutes game. So if you don't mind it being a shorter game and not really difficult then yeah I'd recommend!14 found this helpful
This game is definitely punching above it's weight class; this feels very much like a paperback that you happen across in an airport that holds your interest in ways you didn't expect. There are some typos, and some quality of life questions but considering the method in which it was made I am willing to look beyond that as the quality of the writing is definitely above the standard presented by the medium used. Bravo team, you definitely beat out a movie ticket in terms of cost vs enjoyment. Very neat endeavor, I look forward to more.4 found this helpful
A little rough around the edges, but a fun story. And one that feels pretty lovecraftian in how it slowly builds up and eventually wraps. There are multiple endings at play here, based on your decisions. It’s a game all about these decisions too -- somewhere between a visual novel and a point-and-click adventure game. It’s super short and sweet, which makes it easy to go back to previous points and try new options. There’s nothing radical regarding the storytelling here, but it feels pretty thematic and on-point. Especially how the developer has injected the 70’s time period with some unfortunate but time-appropriate bigotry and paranoia. It’s not exactly a deep cut or anything. But it’s a fun attention to detail that helps sell the setting and mood. Recommended if you want to experience a short and sweet horror novel.3 found this helpful
This was an interesting game that was far too short. There are some interesting elements here and it's a shame it was not expanded upon further. If you want to play this game be mindful that the game can be completed in half an hour and that there are only two endings per character. Steam should have a neutral rating since that's my opinion of this game.1 found this helpful
