About The Spellswapper
The Spellswapper is an arcade roguelite where you use spells to defeat waves of enemies. Command an ever-moving arsenal of spells. Swap out old spells for new ones after each wave, crafting a unique magical repertoire in every run.
Battle enemies

Use your spells to defeat your enemies. Be wary of the various unique enemies you might encounter.
Choose your spells
After each wave, choose a new spell, swapping it out for one of your old spells. Gather three spells of the same element to activate potent synergy effects. Over the course of a run, you will eventually find more powerful spells in the form of rare spells and variant spells. If you are fortunate enough, you might even obtain one of the powerful legendary spells.
Obtain items
After every 5 waves you can select a powerful item. Choose wisely, the items will shape the identity of your run.
Survive

Survive 20 increasingly difficult waves and defeat the final boss to win. In true roguelite fashion, if you die, you will have to start over from the beginning. But, if you do succeed, you get to unlock new characters and items as rewards for winning.

Very chill roguelite game. Only needed to use my mouse while playing it. Gets trickier and more fun overtime - Spellswapper's main "spell swapping" feature is both blessing and a burden as you are forced to ditch some of your good spells and you cannot just take your dream combo and keep refusing a swap. So what would've been an easy breeze is actually a tricky "tower defense" suddenly! Give it a try, it's only 5 bucks!5 found this helpful
Very fun and unique game where you swap your spells to make synergies to get bonus for said spells. It's a very unique and underrated game deserves more attention.3 found this helpful
While the graphics leave something to be desired, the gameplay is a lot of fun. Reminiscent of some of the best flash games of yore.1 found this helpful
-Easy to play, hard to win -Unique gameplay, feels like the dev made something they wanted to play -The base spells already feel and play different, the variants and synergies unlock a lot of unique spells -The swap mechanic forces you to keep changing up your loadout, but limited skips allow you to keep your spells if you've hit a groove -Good use of music -Daily runs gives a random loadout, nice variety until more characters are unlocked -Works on my Linux computer with Proton 81 found this helpful
Fun and chill, albeit a little bit repetitive, but that comes with the genre (not that fond of roguelites personally). AKA Killing jizz with more powerful jizz, what's not to love!
