The Station VR is a first-person sci-fi mystery set on a space station sent to study a sentient alien civilization. Assuming the role of a recon specialist, players must unravel a mystery which will decide the fate of two civilizations.
How would you react if we discovered a sentient alien civilization, challenging everything we know about biology, chemistry, physics, religion and answering the questions man has asked throughout history? But what if this sentient alien civilization was discovered in a state of civil war? Determining that the rewards outweigh the risks, an undetectable space station with a small three-person crew deploys to research the alien culture in search of a means towards a peaceful relationship. Unable to contact the crew, a recon specialist is sent to uncover what happened. What players discover will challenge their view of surveillance, imperialism and moral law.

Hand tracking was laggy, but this is a little gem of an indie game if you like story-focused walking-simulators wih a few puzzles. The tragic story of the crew, the immersion of the tech on board the station - they added so much. There are a few minor jump scares, but overall, I'd recommend it even to the faint of heart - just steel yourself for some darkness and implied danger.1 found this helpful
***EDIT*** quest 2 DOESN't WORK on airlink - same shaky hands isssue as virtual desktop - happens randomly so can slog through shakiness but really annoying- such a shame . It is a fun little red matter like game. would love it to work smoothly1 found this helpful

Played on HTC Vive Pro/Index controllers/RTX2060Super. This was not a bad game, not too long and not too short. It's mainly just walking around and exploring, no real puzzles or something like that. It looks great. I just wished it had more puzzles and a bit more story. Especially in the end it's over before you know what actually went on, they tell you something but I got distracted so I have no idea what really was said. Also I have a feeling I have missed a 'secret' door as there is talk of it, but at the spot where it supposedly should have been, there was no switch or anything, but it also wasn't necessary for the game itself. (I have a feeling they intended it to be another puzzle or something but never had the time to finish it). There are multiple ways of moving, by stick of by teleporting, I played using teleporting as I like that method the most (next to swinging your arms, but that method isn't available). it has it's technical problems, as the first time I started it, it didn't pick up any item (but made the sound as if) nor did it open a panel. Restarted the game and the problem was over. Also at one time I had a book, took it with me to the door, but then I accident…
Refunded. It is not playable with Quest 2 using Virtual Desktop. The controllers, in fact the hand visuals in the game are shaking and moving around constanty and that makes it imposible to grab things and interact around. I tried 3 times, couldn't proceed further than the entry lobby in the space station.
Don't bother. VR motion interface is totally unintuitive and there are very few options to customise it. For me controls were so junky it was barely playable. Like someone mentioned textures are very low res and unpleasant to look at. Don't be fooled by the screenshots, the game doesn't look like that. There are NO graphical options what so ever. Controlers sometimes lagged so bad that I was feeling like I was in slow motion. I refunded the game. I don't know anything about the original but this port is crap. It made me unlist the original since the devs have made so low effort vr port of the game.
