About The Stone

In this prosperous Galactic Federation Planet, local residents are reluctant to mingle with new comers. The reason is simple, because no one knows how long these new comers will stay here. And Jake is one of them.
Fortunately, Aurora does not care about this. As the saying goes, lovers are the most stupid people. Jake does not know Aurora is the President Rod’s daughter until everyone around are discussing about their love relationship.
Rod promised Jake, he would allow Aurora to marry this young man if he could succeeded in accomplishing “Silent Mission”. “Silent Mission” sends gene enhanced special agents of Galactic Federation to holy place “Star Tower”, which is created by ancient “Pioneers”. It is the code to bring back “the Stone”, the holy relic that controls spiritual world. Whoever controls “the Stone” shall control the spiritual world. However, human’s genes cannot enter the Star Tower to touch “the Stone”, even being conducted gene enhancement. The Silent Mission is a mission impossible for countless excellent special agents even by contributing their lives. Jake took this mission for an opportunity to being with Aurora in his life, but he did not realize this is a desperate game as well as the hidden conspiracy behind it. The real fight shall begin when Jake arrives at the “Star Tower”.
Player holds the role of Jake as the game character, interacting with virtual characters face to face, freely exploring the vast fantasy world, executing fierce fighting mission. Player will experience the real emotion and life and death fight. All these experiences will make you being part of the game.

Beautiful graphics, nice music, good voice acting and I like the story. But enemy AI and gameplay balance is aweful.10 found this helpful
Don't bother. PROS: - Graphics are very good (except the human characters with visible faces) - Voice acting is high quality - Music is good in some parts, meh overall though CONS: - Gameplay is extremely boring. - Poor performance, the intro logos lag. That should tell you something. - Writing is terrible. Like 90% of the dialog is dedicated to giving you the backstory of the characters in the laziest way possible. - Did I mention that the gameplay was boring? Because it is really damn boring. If you buy this game, playing the game will feel like a chore that you have to do just so you don't feel like you threw away your money. By far the worst part about this game is the gameplay. Your guns are crappy little laser pistols that feel more like zero-gravity water guns. They shoot tiny pellets that are difficult to aim because the gun barrels are parallel to the controllers, so you need to bend your wrist awkwardly to shoot straight. The enemies ALSO shoot tiny laser pellets, but even though they're tiny, your character's hitbox is enormous, so unless you want to bodyslam the floor, you're not going to be able to dodge them. You could teleport, but that's such a slow process th…6 found this helpful
I played this within my Oculus Library which is why you will only see 10 minutes played within Steam. The game is not worth the asking price. The shooting aspects of the game are in a dream sequence in Act 2. Act 3 is where you will really begin shooting a lot and it is bad. Audio was very low maxed out on Oculus. There's not really "a high quality movie style RPG game for you". It's more like between parts you will will see someone and it's "I'm the next still person you will see and listen to me before we go to the next section". I think the girlfriend was the only one who even moved and that was at the very beginning of the game. Another soldier walks up to you and hands you a file. That's about it. The music was good in "small" parts. I'd recommend the game at 5 bucks. Graphics are good but the character models you fight against are crash dummies. There's also nothing like having a "memory overflow error" appear just at the very top of your visor when you are in your ship the whole time ruining the immersion as well. I bought it to have fun but nearing the end after having to restart areas a few times to only crash to Oculus desktop did it for me. I'll watch th…5 found this helpful
A big THANK YOU to the developers for providing us with a key to try out and feature this one for you guys. This one has beautiful graphics, and while the gameplay is simplistic, there were parts of it that were challenging. It starts out seeming like it's going to be all on rails, but then turns into an Arcade type shooter. I will say that the way you engage your shields is something that needs to be tweaked, and I'd like there to be less total darkness as each level starts. It's odd to hear the sounds, but not see any of the visuals. Be sure to check out our gameplay video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ba8gVv_1oUI5 found this helpful
Constant loading, constant dying and long drawn out dialog. The shooting parts are unfair with only teleportation being the only option. And way too many black screens and did I mention the loading times?1 found this helpful
Beautiful visuals, poor gameplay, and very obnoxious moments of repetitive voiced dialogue. Maybe worth the $1.29 sale price for the visual splendor alone but not worth your time considering there are much better alternatives in the VR adventure genre, like The Gallery. Again, it's just an amazing visual quality for VR, and some scenes are totally memorable, but the game will give you a headache with its poor locomotion (teleport only) and grindy combat system. The final boss battle annoyed me, and the game lasted less than 2 hours, but it wasn't a terrible VR experience. It showed promise, and I would like the devs to improve upon it.
