The Wall, developed and published by Therris Studios, is a hybrid survival experience that combines third-person shooting with elements of tower defense, placing players in a relentless scenario where holding the line becomes the only objective that matters. The game honestly feels like a tech demo in its current state. Balance is, lackluster, the settings menu is barebones (2 audio settings, being Music and Voice, no other settings at all). I vibe with the genre of this game, I really want to like it, but all things considered, I can't. Purchasing things like Robots and Turrets, the price -doubles- on every purchase. Considering the amount of space on the wall, I don't think you can even reasonably reach the needed money to purchase every robot and turret that you can put on the wall. (Looks like 4 turrets, and like, 18-24 robots?) A robot is 1000 base, a turret 5000 base, so the 4 turrets becomes 75000, the robots for just 10, is already 1023000. Zombies give a couple hundred, with specials giving up to a couple thousand. Based on the scaling of zombies' HP, and the scaling of damage and the cost increase on damage as you purchase it, it seems like the balance is, just not really there? It feels like nobody playtested it to verify if the balance was even good. In conclusion, it needs work, a lot of work. The concept is great.
