This Game is Ground Breaking is exactly the kind of tiny multiplayer game I can imagine pulling out when I just want to cause chaos with someone else. The whole idea is incredibly simple. I am standing on a platform made of tiles that disappear beneath me, while explosives can be used to destroy even more of the arena. I liked how quickly the game gets to the point because there is practically no setup before the madness begins. The basic objective is to outlast the other player, but the disappearing floor makes that much more difficult than it sounds. Every step I take can create a future problem because the ground is constantly becoming less safe. I enjoyed having to think about where I am standing while also watching what the other player is doing. The explosives are what really turn the simple idea into a competitive game. I can attack the other player directly, but the blast also destroys the tiles around them. I liked this because I can use explosives as both an attack and a way to manipulate the arena. Sometimes the best move is not trying to hit the other person at all, but removing the space they need to escape. The local multiplayer focus works extremely well. The whol…
